@Prats1993 lol the irony of you making this post and calling me an idiot is amazing
There are many better shooters than Halo available on PC. For example, compared to PC shooters, Halo has:
Imprecise weapons with somewhere between bad and nonexistent ballistics models (because it's designed for console)
Crappy low-res graphics with a horrid FoV (because it's designed for console)
The fact that you don't understand that there's a difference between FPS design on PC and FPS design on console tells me you are either very young or at least that you've not been playing FPS games on PC for very long.
@AndreJr7 @The_Beanster @unreal101 Reach was a big step down from 3 (multiplayer anyways) and 4 was as well (I do think 4 was a step up from reach but it's far removed from the quality of H2/H3)
@unreal101 @The_Beanster Not the point. Of course there are some franchises that get milked even though they're not yearly (points to pretty much every Nintendo franchise in existence).
The difference is that at least some of those series maintain a high quality. Annual release games *at best* stagnate and more often than not they get worse over time.
@CoachHale @The_Beanster @4r0d0 Server browsers are great on the PC but they suck donkey balls on console... without a keyboard and mouse it's just too tedious to navigate and use the UI
Also BF3 came out what... like 7 years after Halo 2?
@4r0d0 Halo 2 introduced the concept of online matchmaking... it revolutionized console multiplayer. I'm not aware of any game that uses a server browser on console anymore, but that's what console games used before Halo 2.
