OK, so i have previously owned an xbox 360 premium console and an xbox 360 elite however that was in '07 and '08 respectively. Having seemingly gotten 'bored' with them i sold them however now i want to buy a new xbox 360 simply because a lot of good games have been released -and are going to be released this year-. Oh and i'm sick and tired of playing on PSN ugh.
So anyway i was thinking about getting the new-ish 60gb Pro model however i'd like some advise!
How do i know if the console is of the new generation i.e. Jasper etc and all that jazz.

I'm sure Microsoft or Sony could afford to buy Rebellion. Fact is they probably won't because the economic climate at the moment wouldn't really make it a feasible choice. - Hopefully they go crazy and just bail FR out anyway. :D
I think the gamerscore>microsoft points idea is a little too much like wishful thinking. Microsoft are a business who want to make money afterall. I wouldn't mind seeing a fully-fledged internet browser incorporated into the xbox dashboard. I mean come on! Microsoft are at the end of the day one of the leaders in the computer software market yet Sony have a browser on the PS3? What's all that about haha
I agree with having fully integrated clan support and a ladder system etc. Netflix for Euro gamers definitely. As for 'home', an ill-advised opinion probably..but an interesting possibility nonetheless.
It would be too harsh to judge Free Radical by going on how well Haze sold or it's critical reception. The fact of the matter is, Battlefront and Timesplitters have a lot of die-hard fans..and would undoubtedly sell.
