This is pretty interesting. If the Japaneseanalyzes the 360 as a bad design, it just makes you wonder why the PS3 is selling as bad as the 360 in Japan. Interesting.

ReverseCycology

are you out of your mind, or you're just an ignorantfanboy? PS3 has sold over a million consoles in Japan. 360 hasn't even sold 400,000 even though it's been out longer.

My 360 is the best electronic device ever made. Period.

Never had a problem with it and I'm not worried about it either.

And you are, sir, a true fanboy that denies reality. You've been owned!!

I purchased a Samsung 720p that has support for 1080i along with my PS3. The problem is that even if you buy a 1080p TV, there isn't a single channel out there right now that broadcasts in 1080p. It will be years before you get any channels in 1080p, so why even bother? also most gams are in 720p and even if they were in 1080p, then your worst case senario that it gets downgraded into a 1080i which pretty good as well.

I basically have 114 dollars out of my gadget fund (I get reimbursed from my company)left and have to spend it on something. I own a PS3 and a PSP. I was thinking about buying some type of accessory that works for the PS3. I was seriously considering buying a keyboard for my PS3 to get ready for UT3, but the keyboard they had for the PS3 has the mouse already imbedded into the keyboard, that kinda defeats the purpose of having one. I can't spend the money on games, but I can spend it on any computer accessory like keyboard and whatnot so I figured I would get a keyboard that works with my PS3 but didn't like the one Logitech makes. Do you guys have any suggestions on a keyboard orlike a camera that qualifies as "computer accessory" but is compatible with my PS3. Thanks

Ok, it's easy for you guys to say suck it up to the developers, face it that it's a pain to code for the PS3. This is exactly why PS3 games keeps getting delayed and delayed.None of us are developers so we don't know the pain it is indeveloping for an completely new technology that Sony has adopted, I feel bad that these developers have to take more time and money just to make a PS3 game...if I was a developer I'd take the easy way out and just develop for the 360 sinceit's proven cheaper to develop forand more developer friendly. So pleasestop getting mad at the developers for Sony's mistake of making a complicated system.gamer082009

I'm a developer, not a game developer, but definitely understand the mechanics. this guy said it best

I am currently getting majors in Game Design, Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Sciences. We have been practicing with 360 and ps3 development kits. It is not hard to develop for. You just have to write more code like declaring variables. It optimizes the games better if u do because it sets aside specific memory locations for quick access. If u don't declare variables It can cause slow loading or crashing. It is not hard to convert 360 code to ps3 code but it does take a lot of time to do it which is why I think we are getting rushed ports. They don't put in the time. Another things is the the 360 has 32MB of ram set aside for the 360's OS while the ps3 has 96MB of Ram set aside for XMB. Even though developers have less Ram to work with on ps3 it is still better on ps3. Dedicated memory is much better then unified memory. Compare a desktop with separate VRAM and RAM vs a laptop with Shared RAM. Another thing is that the XDR RAM in ps3 is clocked at 3.2GHz which will greatly increase buffer speed.ttobba07

Sales Wise? No, I don't believe any of them really have a chance....maybe Heavenly Sword, Mass Effect, and Bioshock have the best chances....but I don't see 4.5 million out of any of them. Score Wise? Probably not again, because now you have to get a 10 to beat out Gears 9.6......Again, Bioshock or Mass Effect here will have the best chance IMO.MikeE21286

You can't compare scores from last year with scores from this year. Standards are higher every year for games. 9.6 for gears doesn't mean anything really. It's a great game, but take for example Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (PS2) which has gotten a score of 10 out of 10 in 2001. That really doesn't mean anything. It jus means that it was a great game back then. I'd say, if a game gets the same score or a close score to the 9.6 score of gears then it's a better game.

Your MAC address has nothing to do with the internet. It's your IP address that you need to access the internet. Connect the Ethernet cable to you modem from your PS3, then go to network Setting -> Internet Connection Setting, then set it up from there by choosing Wired Connection. Your PS3 should automatically acquire an IP address. At the end test your connection by pressing on TEST CONNECTION, after that you should be good to go. If that didn't work, then you need to check your Modem to see if all the lights are green and you're able to hook it up to your PC to connect to the Internet. If everything is ok, then There is either something you're doing wrong setting up you Internet connection or your PS3 has a defected ethernet card and needs to be fixed.

they are called Memory stick duo, and they are made for many things like PSP, some digital cameras..etc. They are different than SD cards.
