And yes I know that the updates change your settings on whether or not you want the disc to play on startup or not... This has nothing to do with that...
My 360 just stopped reading discs all of a sudden after I downloaded the update... Won't read games or DVDs... I'm pretty pissed right now and can't find anything else to blame other than the **** update... Great job again Microf@gs!!!
Is there anyway to tell if you're going to get a Ben-Q drive with your 360 before you buy it, just by looking at the box and sticker? I'm on my fifth 360 right now, the second of which I'm about to return to Best Buy because of the Hitachi drive failing...
The one I had before this one failed within three days of buying it *Brand New* off of the shelf and this one took about a year... luckily, I never got the RROD like my three 360s had before these two... Kind of sickening to tell you the truth...
