[QUOTE="The_Milton"]yeah your right 6.4 is a fair score since the majority of reviews where 8 and up....obvisouly they were being fair on the game. They were. It's their opinion. it's their bais opinion have you played this game? and if you have would you have given it such a horrible rating? going by this review you'd think this is a wii music quality game this game deffinetly deserved 7 and up and if you own a wii it's worth playing.[QUOTE="OreoMilkshake"]No just no.OreoMilkshake

The attacks on this game are a little broad for my taste. I am not saying it can compete with the best first person shooters the 360 and PS3 offer. I am saying that it can compete in the genre overall. It it certainly not the worst FPS ever released, it is better than some of the other consoles offerings.
I have a question for everyone: How does The Conduit stack up against some of these other FPS released this cycle?
The Conduit vs Prey
The Conduit vs Shadowrun
The Conduit vs Turok
The Conduit vs TimeShift
The Conduit vs Call of Juarez
The Conduit vs Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway
The Conduit vs Haze
The Conduit vs Soldier of Fortune: Payback
Pdiddy105
All of those games besides Soldier of Fortune are better than The Conduit (Yes, even Haze).
yeah i'm sure you've never played the game go on the x-box forums fan boy the conduit is fun not mind blowing but fun and worth buying.[QUOTE="The_Milton"]No just no.yeah your right 6.4 is a fair score since the majority of reviews where 8 and up....obvisouly they were being fair on the game.gamespot is lame this is why I perfer IGN it doesn't have bais on video games you know by reading this review on the conduit the guy is an x-box 360 fan boy.

It does not change the fact that the graphics are some of the best the Wii has to offer. It does, plain and simple, have some of the best graphics, but those great graphics are coupled with a lacking style and you seem to think that those good graphics just disappear. You may not like the overall visuals of the game but the graphics are really good and ever your GS review says that.

I don't care what the GS review or any other review says. I have now played the game and witnessed it with my own two eyes, so I no longer need to rely on what other people have said about the game. I will grant, as I already have, that there are many technically impressive aspects in the game, such as bloom lighting, blurring of objects outside of the area you're looking at, and such like. However, technical capability for good graphics is only as good as it is used, and it is quite obvious that they were quite simply not used properly at all. Perhaps in better hands this game could have been very impressive to look at, but right now, no, it's not. You can't point to the few parts of it that look great and then expect others to just totally ignore all the stuff that doesn't look good at all.
The graphics in a game are the sum total of everything you see; you cannot evaluate the graphics of a game on the basis of the potential provided by the engine and on the sparse realization of that potential in certain parts of the game.
dude if your so picky and gonna be a graphics nazi then get a ps3 and play games with amazing graphics that aren't fun.gamespot is lame this is why I perfer IGN it doesn't have bais on video games you know by reading this review on the conduit the guy is an x-box 360 fan boy.
[QUOTE="wiidskirby"]I agree. So confusing.I think they do that cause it ships and arrives at diffrent times and days in diffrent places.Anyone else think that it would be a good idea for websites to put the date the game will be available in-store for purchase along with/instead of the date that it ships?
Could save a lot of confusion...

I have a wii..mainly still waiting for starfox..(still in works I guess) but on the meantime I have a 360 to keep me happy hardcore wise while enjoying the casual games from wii,its a win win thing. :)Foxi911yeah I agree even though my 360 is covered in dust, but that way you get best of both worlds.
I dunno if that 'll happen but I'm grateful that third party publishers are finally stepping it up for the wii.
well nintendo show wasn't that amazing but I wasn't disapointed either at least they didn't have a child molesting simulator oh wait project milho I think was the name for it, and at least the didn't have motion controllers that require to make you look like an idiot, it's sad a low other companies are stupping whats sadder is we've had motion control now we'll have even better motion sensing and we'll have a long time before sony and M$ do haha!!
