The Sopranos.

This may be my favorite show ever. It sucks that I don't have HBO, and right now it is very hard to avoid spoilers, cause every where I look it says something about the finale of the show. I just got into it last week, so I'm still on season one. It is really an amazing show.

The acting is wonderful. The characters are quite colorful. But I do dislike Tony's mom, giving him panic attacks and all. She should just go in the damn retirement house! Not much happens from what I've seen, but it lures you in. There is only about one or two action sequences in every episode, but they are quite good. I really hope to wrap up all five seasons before the finale airs, because I would actually like to see one of the episodes live.

I hope that it doesn't have a crap finale like Alias or St. Elsewhere. I don't want something weird to happen like the dream sequences are the real thing and the mafia life is fake. I would be fine with something such as his just going on with not much wrapping up.

Cars.

So, tonight I went to BlockBuster and rented Cars. It is a pretty enjoyable movie. It keeps you in despite the fact that the plot is quite predictable.

Basically, this race car, Lightning McQueen [voiced by Owen Wilson], is in a race for the 'Piston Cup.' It ends up in a three way tie, and a tie-breaker is set up a week from then in California. Along the way, McQueen gets lost, almost causes several accidents, and destroys a town's main street. The town votes to have him rebuild the road.

And you know how it goes from there. Lead falls in love with little town vixen. Older character is secretly a [enter sport name here] hero, but now disowns the sport. Bumbling sidekick for the stupid jokes. Eventually Lightning doesn't want to leave, but who saw that coming?

The animation is top notch, as always with Pixar. This movie continues their amazing track record of good movies. Voice work is amazing, including Paul Newman, Bonnie Hunt, Tony Shalhoub, and several others. I will say one thing about the voice actors, Larry the Cable guy is absolutely horrid up against these mostly B-List actors. He would fit right in, in a lower quality movie, however his voice work here reeks.

The Sheep. The Lemmings. and the Cows

I currently have a 360, it is tons of fun, but recently I've been falling back on Xbox 1 games. That's besides the point, in the near future I plan on getting a Wii. My visitation of the Wii forums has risen, as well as my viewings of System Wars.

It seems to me, from my observations, that the sheep crowd is much more kind and forgiving than Lemmings or Cows. Sure, I have a few friends on Xbox Live that are in the mature gamers region, and by that I mean people who actually are allowed to play M games according to ESRB guidelines. I'm willing to bet a lot of these guys have Wiis. Sheep are extremely mature, unlike the lemmings on the 360 board, and the cows on the System Wars board.

I don't really plan on buying any Sony products, so I might be a little biased against cows, but I don't think I am. The Playstation 3 is a wonderful machine, but it is not really geared towards the same crowd as the Wii. The PS3 is going for the 'edgy,' 'rebellious' crowd, whom believe themselves to be mature. On the other hand, the Wii is going for the people that Nintendo fans all along, the true mature gamers.
