Warhammer is COOLOL

I just made a 1,500 point army of dwarfs. I'm really wishing that they would make a video game that works exactly like the board game. For some reason I keep thinking about how fun it would be, even though it would probably be a hot pile of garbage.

The game I really want to play is Space Marine. That and the new 40k MMO, which will UNDOUBTEDLY be a hot stink. The warhammer mmo had a lot of cool features that stood it apart from other games. But it couldn't pull it all in at the end.

Space Marine looks like what Queers of War should have been, an orc killing over the shoulder death spree.

I'm noticing that this blog post doesn't really have a purpose, but I'm going to keep going until my brain has nothing else to vomit. I haven't played a video game in a while, I'm waiting patiently for Fallout and the new CoD. I played RDR out, too. As soon as I made it to Mexico I decided to take either a brake, or a hiatus, like GTA. Haven't played GTA in a good while, either. I'm too excited for Dead Space 2, I had a dream about it last night... Mostly because I watched Event Horizon. Then I watched "The Substitute" featuring Tom Berenger.

At one point in the movie, T-Bear told the class, "I am the merciless god of whatever stirs in my universe". That was right after he broke a kids finger and cut another kid on the forehead with a soda can. Then he knocked him out and sent them both to the school's nurse. I found myself wishing I could do what he was doing, even if the class wasn't behaving that badly.

Of Singularity, Bioshock 2, and Dead Space

I sold Metro 2033 and a couple of dvds that I don't watch anymore to buy Singularity for 30 dollars. I beat it less than 24 hours later, posing the question that I'm sure a lot of other quasi-serious gamers have: Where to companies get off charging 60 dollars for a game that takes you 6-9 hours to beat? The game itself was entertaining enough, the online seemed promising from what I played, and. . . That's about it. Worth a buy? No. Worth a rent? Absolutely.

All of that out of the way, the game reminded me of Bioshock 2, and Dead Space when another friend mentioned it. I remembered that I had both. I started playing Bioshock 2 online, and to my surprise I'm still pretty good at it. Although my forte in video games has always been first person shooters. I wish that (and this may just be me) that Bioshock 2 had dedicated servers. Maybe if anyone reads this (doubt it) they can straighten me out on that.

Dead Space two still scares the **** out of me.
