I just finished Dune Messiah by Frank Herbert, which was the sequel to Dune. . .and I have no idea what the hell I just read.

Seriously, the first Dune was pretty cool, but this was page after page after page of utter nonsense. Oftentimes the very characters point out that it's nonsense. It's like reading the Timecube in some instances.

I hope the rest of the Dune books aren't like this, or I won't even bother.
