I just found a book that has one of the most awesome premises I have ever read: Summa Elvetica: A Casuistry of the Elvish Controversy.

The premise? The Catholic Church in a fantasy realm debating about whether or not elves have souls.

I am so getting this book, if not for the story then the cover.
