Whenever a Zelda game is released, I tend to reflect back upon the previous games in the series for comparison. I find it hilarious how bad some of the original games in the series were. Take 'The Legend of Gamelon' which came out way back in 1993. The storyline in this game is so nonsensical, its hard not to find it amusing.

Got a Wii, but just barely
by ThieviusRaccoon on Comments
Well we showed up 4 hours before the local Futureshop opened, only to find that there were already more people than available consoles. So we searched around, Best Buy had a ridiculously large line with a large number of people having sepnt the night. We finally arrived at yet another futureshop just in the nick of time, and I mean just. After sprinting from the car as my friend parked, we managed to get spots 28, 29, and 30 of the 31 available consoles at that store. I couldn't be happier.
Wii Camp Out?
by ThieviusRaccoon on Comments
So the topic has arisen amoungst my social group if we are willing to 'camp out' for the Wii. I've heard some mixed reports on the topic, some say it isn't even necessary to camp and there will be sufficient consoles for all. But after thinking it over, I'm just not willing to take the chance.
The final concensus is that we will go ridiculously early in the morning, around 5am to wait in front of Future Shop (A Canadian division of Best Buy). Hopefully that will secure us the Wiis we so desire. And even if it's dark and cold, I expect this Sunday will be an enjoyable experience, even if it's only for the thrill of being a nerd.
Will anyone else out there be camping out to any degree for the Wii?

The Politically Incorrect
by ThieviusRaccoon on Comments
I had recently glanced that feature Gamespot put up about some quality giveaways for pre-ordering certain titles at EB Games. One of these games was Okami, which I was already interested in, so I went on over to the EB site to check out the details of the pre-order. After arriving at the Okami page, I saw that a free art board of some kind was in fact being given away. Although I'm not totally sure what this 'art board' is, something else caught my interest while on that page...
The first line of the product description for Okami reads as follows:
'Okami takes place in a time when people still believed in the existence of God.'
Now I'm not what you'd call a religious person and I wasn't personally offended by this or anything. But I still found it quite hilarious that a company as huge as EB would let something like that slip by, seeing as how politically incorrect the statement appears.

Any Thoughts Gamespot community?
