It was great but certainly cannot replace Oblivion and Fallout 3, it was too slow paced for me, especially traveling around the city, they should have added more variety to the quests like Oblivion's or Fallout 3's quests.WingedHero

Yes! Yes! A true genius has come out of the mists!

[QUOTE="jackophant"]Mass Effect is awesome. One of the few games I've ever played where I actually felt my character had social significance. Most games just make you feel like your watching whats going on through the eyes of the character, but Mass Effect really put you in that characters position and made you make your own decisions. It is rather slow paced and it probably takes an intellectual mind to enjoy it, but that doesn't mean its bad. Just sophisticated, for gamers who are more mature.Lance_Kalzas

SO you are saying that because I enjoy Oblivion that I'm not a mature gamer? How can you feel that you are not just watching the story unfolding through the eyes of someone else if you don't even get to name your character? I just think that that entire statement is wrong. All your doing is telling all of us gamers that don't enjoy going with the crowd that we are not "Mature" enough. I like intellectual games with an epic story and compelling side quests so how am I not mautre enough?

His post is wrong simply because Mass Effect can be enjoyed by anyone and whether or not you enjoy it doesn't determine whether you're a mature gamer or not but he doesn't mention Oblivion anywhere in his post so I'm a little lost how you arrived at that conclusion. I'm not disagreeing with you or anything. Are you just using Oblivion as an example?

Yea I was just using it as an example of a popular RPG that is actually good

Why would we be called sensitive haters? Is it because we don't like to play visual crap on our TV in fear of it exploding on us causing 50 cent's poorly made games insides to shower us in a tidal wave of crap? Do all of gamespot a favor and don't support gangster games! Anyone ever heard of Ride or Die? Golden Mullet award anyone?

Assassin's Creed runs great on the hd. I installed it after i got the xbox "expirience" update and it's working great. I always used to get the glitch where the horse's legs start to float in mid-air but now that never happens.

Palantas

I like Mass Effect, but I'm not going to qualify myself as a sophisticated or mature person based on my playing it.

Thank you. At least someone who enjoyed the game has some sense.

you were probably expecting an action-pack shooter but instead you got an rpg game instead.IPandaMonster

Not at all I am a very avid fan of RPGs and I enjoy them very much i.e.: Oblivion, Morrowind,Fallout3

I just don't think that RPGs should be combinded with First-Person Shooters

no.. I didn't care for it either, I had bought it, I kept getting stuck on the game, and then when I completed the main questline, I immediately got rid of it, I would get oblivion over mass effect, any dayTrogeton

HELL YEA! Elder Scrolls or Fallout 3 are way better than Mass Effect. In the first three hours of the game I just looked for one damn person to start the first quest or mission or whatever they call it in space.

I know that the original xbox adapter needs it's own power source but other than that it works fine. I would say the 360 adapter is a waste of time though.
