Is 720p seriously better than 1080i? I mean, the resolution is higher, but I guess it's not progressive. I've checked 720p out before, and I can't honestly see a difference. Maybe it's too subtle to notice. I always run in 1080i because my screen is only 26".

You should'nt notice a big difference on a 26" screen, but 1080i is basically 540p with interlaced black lines. You will be getting a higher pixel-count with 720p
