i think the most expansive card i can afford is a GTX 680 :-) Andi didn't know that. I thought that if you have a 2.0 x16 you couldn't run a 3.0 x16

I wanna buy a new graphic card. I asked what i should upgrade and most people think its only the graphics card i need to upgrade.

My motherboard can only run PCI Express 2.0 x16 so i can't use cards like the GTX 600 series. :?

Right now i have a Ati Redeon HD 4890 which is pretty outdated.
Core Clock = 950 MHz
Memory Clock = 1050 MHz
1 GB memory.

I wanna buy the best card my GBU can handle.
Next year i'm gonna buy the same card again and run SLI.

I have 2 questions. :!:

NR. 1. What card will you recommend? I been looking at a GTX 580 with 1.5 GB Memory and a Radeon HD 5970 with 2 Gb memory.
NR. 2. Maybe a stupid question ;) but when i look at the numbers in my old card and the new cards there are not a huge difference. So will it make my computer run games any better?

Right now i can run most game on medium/high at 1920x1080 but i wanna run them at max setting and be a little prepared for the future :)

I'm asking if the 4 way is okay for fighting games or if it has to be 8 way.

I know they use 4 way in Japan.

1. is a 4 way joystick okay for a fighting game? I want to buy an Arcade Stick but im not sure if 4 way is okay. In street fighter, Sometimes you need to go S, SW, and then W to pull off a move. will i be able to do it with a 4 way joystick?

2. Also, is an 8 way much better?. I'm not a pro player. I'm only gonna play online at home.

3. Can you recomend a good arcade Stick. I seen The street fighter stick but i think it's pretty expansive.
