[QUOTE="jeffmonster"]I was checking out the 360 black friday deals, and Circuit City will have the 360 arcade + 20 gb drive + extra wireless controller for $199. grafkhun
heh, if circuit city can stay in business until friday.

lol, true. I'm gonna go check out that deal and see if that's real. If so, then I'll pick one up for my brother.

I know a lot of you will spew the standard "they're in the game so I'm gonna use them and you should shut up" line, but is anyone else totally fed up with these two weapons? They are all I ever see anymore (except for the occasional M4 or RPD) and it's starting to get to the point that you can't compete very well without them. I have used both of them and I ended up like 30 and 10 but I even FELT cheap using them because there is just nothing to compete with guns that overpowered (if you don't think they are overpowered, consider this: I once shot 5 people one through the other with an M16 and killed all of them!) And before I get called a noob for complaining, I'm a level 9 on my 5th time through the ranks with more than 150 hours on the game. I just wish people would use different weapons for a change so the maps don't play exactly the same every time and I wonder if anyone agrees with me.........sixgears2
I agree that they are more common now, but they have their weaknesses. My main weapon is the ak47 or the submachine gun version(the smg version is a lot more inaccurate, so i usually only use it on small maps.)

Even though EA is "putting out that game", I am hyped for it. I'll probably rent it first though.

If you're asking in the Xbox 360 forum I think you've already conciously made your decision.

Besides, you've listed way more pros for Xbox 360 than you have a Guitar.

Also, you haven't stated what you're friends feel about you purchasing a Guitar. You obviously think highly of their opinion, so what is their opinion on the alternate?

And yes - I absolutely love Dead Rising, and if you have the opportunity to play it, then please do!

And be sure to pick up Viva Pinata, the most underrated and wonderful game I've seen on the platform.

I know, viva pinata is a great game.

Get both, that's what I did. The only problem is, I have a job. So my parents expect me to pay for my own entertainment(read responsibility once a job is taken). I had to pay for both, and I don't regret either. My guitar is an epiphone les paul special. It's not a great guitar, but for the price it's probably one of the best starter guitars on the market(I also have a squier, not as good as the epiphone, but it was given to me. It's not a bad guitar for jazz or blues though)

I played Fable just as much or more as you and I think its a great idea. The colonial time period is never used for fantasy settings. Its always the middle ages. And the guns that are going to be in Fable 2 we essentially just be like bows. You're not running around Albion with an M4 mowing people down.Ket87
exactly, in fact, I'm kinda interested to see how this colonial time period(which you said has never been used before for fantasy) will be implemented and how well it will work.

Here is my gripe to the game companies because I need to vent:

First: Stop taking so long to put things out, we don't care that halo 3 was scheduled to come out at the same time as GTA 4, we are going to buy both anyway. this strategy is stupid and says to me as a consumer that your product may not be so good. If you are delaying the release for other reasons then reward us for our patience. I feel like I'm always waiting for games and if this keeps up this will be my last generation of gaming.

Second: stop making these games so short, some people out there will play the game over and over on different levels of difficulty to get all of their achievements, but for the most part that sucks. sure, getting achievements is cool but I cannot stand the fact that I pay $64.00 to beat a game in 2-3 days. It sucks...I repeat it sucks. Even Mass Effect was ridiculously short...why, do you remember final fantasy 1/2/3, they took weeks sometimes months to beat. Every game w/in the last 2 years have been too short.

Third: for FPS games: CO-OP split screen needs to be required...period, Online play is fantastic, but don't forget the joy people get playing games together w/out a headset. Enemies need to be roaming or doing what they do regardless of where you are. I can't tell you frustrating it is to know exactly where you have to be to trigger enemies to appear, it takes away from sniper weapons. Also, if you provide sniping weapons in a level or game, give people places to snipe from a distance preferably elevated.

4th: Request: Silenced shotgun (No Country for Old Men)

and I'm out..

jchoice
um...I agree with you on most, but final fantasy 1/2/3 could take "weeks, sometimes months to beat"? No offense or anything, but final fantasy 1 and 2 were not that long the last time I played them.
