Go apathy! WOOT!

:) i had to look that one up on wiki, i am in no way depressed, take drugs or drink alcohol. its actually my birthday today so i'm very happy.

lmao how old r u today, dumbass?

15...are you some kind of peado??

15?... Older than I woulda guessed, but the youth shows... You are the sort of person I hope a lot of crime on in your future life, just so that you can get a clue... I want to see your bike stolen, your house broken into and all your video games and computer taken, and I really want to see you mugged... Then I want to hear your "more power to the criminal" rant.

And Apathy has nothing to do with drugs or depression. Being Apathetical means you are cold, callous and uncaring.

Word..........What he said

I just finished playing it for about 15 minutes, it was the first online rpg i've ever played. I left soon because I had no idea where to go to continue quests. They speak of directions, but no compass to tell where im going. No map markers either that say where the quest objective is located. (Maybe there are both but I havent figured it out)

Anyway is it like this with most mmorpgs?

[QUOTE="Timmn32884"]

Farcry had a storyline that was so lame and unimaginative, and story is the most important part in any good FPS(or most games for that matter). Two hours into the game I almost wanted to cheat just to get through the game as fast as I could just to see how the story progressed and if it would get any better. Everything else was ahead of its time, although I could care less if it has good graphics if the game is so boring that I don't even want to play it. When it comes to story....

Farcry 3/10

Half life series 9/10

Doom 3 7/10

Halo one 8/10

F.E.A.R. 6/10

Cranler

Story? Gameplay is the most important aspect. Nice to have a good story but this isnt a book or movie.

I like to think of the games I play as a good book or movie =D

So you cheated to follow the story because it was so boring?? You don't make any sense, dude.

If it's a good story its worth fighting your way though and really taking the game in. The game was boring so I just wanted fly through it to see how it ended. And if you read correctly, I said I "Almost" cheated, never said I did, and also I said I wanted to see if the story got any better.

The game is completely overrated, I don't see how anyone could of enjoyed it. I agree with 99% of gamespot scores, but this one deserved a 6 instead of a 9 for the most boring and predicable FPS i've ever played.

I'm not the only one it seems who gets bored of their games after beating them. It's been years since ive done so (I think it might of been Ocarina of time 10 years ago, and of course Diablo 2) Besides Strategy games. there has been a huge lack of 9.0+ gamespot review pc games. For me, those are the type of games that usually have replay value.

Well, I'm 27 with a full-time job, a wife, and a house to keep up with, so I only get about 2 evenings a week worth of playtime at best. Add to that the fact that I like big, involved strategy and RPGs and I'll average at least a month per game. I try to limit myself to buying one game per month so if I accidently buy a dud then I'm stuck playing older stuff for 3 1/2 weeks. :P Of course I played Oblivion for 5 months since I had to justify the $200 graphics card along WITH the $50 game. It was worth every penny. :Djimrhurst
Oblivion was the last game I played that I spent longer than a week on. Probably 3 months or so. I'm almost tempted to try an online RPG, although I don't want to become addicted to it. Looks like i'll just have to continue being patient and wait for games like Bioshock/Hellgate london/Clive barkers jericho and Unreal 3.

For me, I'll get a new game, depending on the game i'll beat it in 2-5 days and then have to wait 3-4 months for another good game to come out.  Maybe its just a huge gaming drought but I could never remember not being able to have games to play. They keep releasing these stupid Strategy games by the barrel full and no good games like FPS or RPGs.
