I wrote a review about how the DRM in spore limits the game to 3 activations and Gamespot fined me with a demerit on my profile!

My post was not a rant, but a worthy discussion on the integral DRM system in Spore that limits customers enjoyment of the game.

Gamespot has violated my freedom of speech.

Despite there being over 60 votes already, Gamespot still will not permit me to vote on Spore. I can't even review it either, I just get a blank page.

There is a conspiracy afoot to fool gamers into thinking that this game is getting rave reviews. This is utterly outrageous!

Bioshock has 5 activations (even on Steam), Mass Effect has 3 and it looks like Spore will have 3.

These activation limits clearly have nothing to do with piracy and everything to do with reducing consumer rights, making games have a shorter shelf life and destroying the second hand games market.

The more games companies such as Electronic Arts believe that they can control me, the more I willdriven out of computer games. And dont think that I will move to consoles!
