Okay from the time i put this game into my system i was hooked. Not only at the stunning graphics (of the time) or the gameplay, but also the storyline. The storyline in Final Fantasy X is one of the best of the series. It has deep meaning and does a great job in the romance of it. There is much more than the romance of course, things involving father and son, it gets pretty deep. The characters in Final Fantasy X will stick with you forever. I'm writing this review how ever many years later after playing it for the first time, but i recently beat it again and it was just as exciting. As i was saying the characters, Tidus, Auron, Jecht, Yuna, Rikku, Wakka, they are all amazing and all play a part in the story at some time, they did a good job making every character count in this game. Next the gameplay is fantastic, it's turned base battling but you have to use strategy to win. Also the leveling up system is cool i like it. They give you a grid called the "Sphere Grid" in the sphere grid, you guessed it, you have to fill in the spheres with different kind of spheres you pick up from enemies. This is very challenging and takes A LOT of hours to COMPLETELY fill it out, which i still haven't been able to do i'm in the process in doing it right now. Also the "overdrives" in this game look fantastic. Overdrives are basically the best moves that the characters have. You unlock more for each character in different ways, through out the game. If you haven't played this game you should, because this is what turned me into an RPG gamer.
