@smtgfx Then use Unity or one of the other free engines. Not half as powerful, but more than enough for the starting game designer.

Alternatively, you could try to develop your own engine, though if you're a starting game developer, there's no way you could do that, heh...

For the life of me I just cannot grasp how they make these awesome cell shaded graphics that make it so pausing the video at any time makes it look like it was taken straight out of an anime.

@Scorpion1813 @TohouAsura Too true. AC1 was lacking polish, but ultimately had great promise.

But AC2 they just said, **** ALL, and made it a full blown adventure game. It was still a great game, but wasted potential too.

AC3... Oh god. It's like they went **** ALL again, but this time they didn't even make it good in a different way.

@Rf_Kool True, AC4 actually looks interesting, and the main character is atleast colourful.

Though i'm not sure why they call it Assassin's Creed anymore. They haven't followed any creed since AC2 emerged, and they are certainly no assassins.
