Like all good stories a beginning and an end are inevitable. Which one makes the impact? The end. A good ending will stick with you forever and the better the story the better an ending to that story must be. So what I am I babbling about? This is my end to blogging. The end. Kidding. But I would much like it if everyone would tell me there favourite video game ending, my favourite is RDR. Whats yours...

Rockstar has an amazing list of platinum games that are favourites to any true gamer. Almost all there games get very high scores if not perfect. But whats next for Rockstar. What will they do next? Well the GTA V discussion is heating up, especially with the location of the next GTA epic. The game is obviously in creation but where will our next fav criminal be causing chaos. Well rumour has it it will be in LA... again. Yes San Andreas was great but I personally have had enough of the obvious gang occupied places. I want to get out of America in my next GTA game. I made a little list of the top 4 best places for GTA V to take place in. The list only includes one American location. They are in no order.

TOP 4

4-London, England

3-Mexico

1-Las Vegas, Nevada

Of these top my favourite is by far Las Vegas. Who wouldn't want to driving around LV robbing all the casino's. Mexico for its heavy gang problems and nice backdrop. And London because it really could be a perfect place for some classic gang fun that has been seen but not well executed by other games. Well thats it for this blog, oh and Rockstar has stated that they reveal the next GTA along with Max Payne 3 in the next few months. I want all your opinions one what the next GTA location should be too so write up your comments! PEACE!

#5-Killzone 2 (M)

So this game is kinda the realistic Sci-fi shooter god. Yeah, I used realistic and Sci-fi in the same sentence. This is a really awesome game that has amazing graphics and even better guns. This game is totally and amazingly awesome with sick multiplayer and a killer storyline what can beat that… huh? Well you'll soon find out.

#4- Halo ODST (M)

Who does not like a good Halo game, especially since Halo invented Sci-fi shooters back with Halo: Combat Evolved. Bungie is really good at what they do and this game proves that. So ODST not only continued the Halo franchise, which is awesome, but seeing as Master Chief's story is over this is the first legit Halo game and it is great. Introduces a co-op with the Firefight mode, which is really fun if you want to team up with your buddies and on a second disc you get the ****c Halo multiplayer experience, with all 24 maps, DLC included. Plus a new campaign putting in the role of a few different characters. All of which are Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. An overall great game and well worth the price because every aspect of this game is perfect.

#3-Halo 3 (M) + Modern Warfare 2 (M) (Tie)

I bet your wondering how I could tie these 2 games? They are both hugely well-known games for their campaign but even more so for the multiplayer. Back in Halo 3's day they got hundreds of thousands of hours each day, while MW 2 also racked up at least hundreds of hours each day. Each game has about a hundred thousand players each day playing. And each game earning billions, like MW 2 earning record amounts of cash in the first day, week, and month. Although Halo 3's campaign is much more famous and well known compared to MW 2's, currently MW 2 is probably the most famous MP game ever. MW 2 also introduced co-op to the series to make MW 2 an even more worthwhile purchase. Plus new map packs every few months. While Halo 3 came out with tons of map packs and has a total of 24 maps. But what made Halo 3 really epic was the amazing conclusion to a really amazing story. A story of inspiration and an unstoppable hero… Master Chief. Until he gets stopped and then dies a pretty horrible death… but that's another blog. Overall these are too epic games. BUY THEM.

This game series reinvented the treasure adventure series. Literally bring amazing and revolutionary graphics the PS3 is known for, that gets even better in the sequel. With the best cinematic sequences ever… these games deserve their spot the histories finest. They both have great plots and the sequel introduces multiplayer so these to games are really perfect and make me want more. Uncharted 2's MP is really awesome and example would be the fact you can run around with RPG's and kill people. That is awesome. And you should definitely get this game.

Its time for the #1 game…

#1-Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare (M)

Yep. This is the #1 game. Why? It gave as a reason to like shooters again by jumping out of WW2 and jumping about 60 years forward. Also introducing a killer story with the evil villain Zakeaif or however you spell it. But most important it gave us the best multiplayer experience ever. It involves lots of killing, weapon upgrades, and going prestige… 10 times. Making you want to play on again and again and again until you go 10th prestige and even then you'll still want to play it. And not is it a pure ****c but it's the father of MW 2. The game that owns the multiplayer world currently and will continue to until a new COD comes a long and steals are interest. But until then we have MW 2 and the game that reinvented shooter again. And made it better then ever. It modernized, socialized, but most of all made it addicting and made a damn good multiplayer experience. Below are some awesome images of an awesome game.

In conclusion to the Top 15 Games Of The Last 5 years, I hope you enjoyed this and see the message within it. There are many games out there, and few really good games that get 10/10. Those games are always epic, but the what's the one thing that makes a game so addicting. Is it the tag on the game that says Game Of The Year Award or the 10/10 reviews or is it the one thing about a game that makes you want to play again and again. It's the addicting part about the game, the part that you can replay over and over again. The part that is addicting and down right fun, it's not always the multiplayer but most time it is. Multiplayer is an invention that will never die. Because it takes the game we love to play and lets us play it with many others friends or strangers, its what is different every time you play it. The multiplayer is the future of what games are going to built around. It's that social connection and fun we see all around us with cell phones and facebook. Social connection is the future and our societies strength. Very soon with the next 50 years everyone and their grandpa will have an electronic device and a video game console. And probably a brand new copy of COD 26 to play with there friends.

There have been a ton of great games in the past years that we all still play and have made history. A ton of games… no kidding originally this was a top 10 list but the amount of great games just in the past 5 years is amazing so I made it a top 15 list. Games are 10 times better then anything before and they keep getting better the past 5 years alone have been a gold mine for great games. I will not only tell you the game but I'll tell you a bit about it including awards. So read on and you'll know the #1 game of the past 5 years.

#15-DEAD SPACE (M)

This literally was the first horror game in a while to literally make people take the horror genre seriously again since Doom. This game is not a run around and start killing zombies type of game, well it is but it was also extremely thrilling to play through and challenging to say the least. The environment is stunningly beautiful and different from any other game of played. And for only taking place in old space station the environments vary a ton. Replay value is not bad if you like to play great stories twice or more and with the strategic dismemberment the game is a full package. Although it has no Multiplayer it is a very attention grabbing game and the plot will keep you busy for a long time because its so engrossing. So overall it deserves the great score it achieved. Pick this game up.

#14-Assassins Creed (series) (M)

Both games are truly epic so It was hard to leave them out, they both are amazing stealth adventure games that are based in the Holy Lands in the 11th century and Venice in 14th century. Both games scored 9/10 and are thrilling and exciting. And both set a bar for amazing visuals for sandbox games. They both had really good stories that make up a bigger more epic story. In case you don't know you take the place of Desmond a guy who got stuck in the middle of the templar's and the assassins. And through the animus he must learn the plot the evil templar's are planning and stop them and a long the way become an assassin himself. With no multiplayer… yet, the first ones only actually replay value is the story and some little tasks here and there. The second one has many more extra tasks to do so it has much more replay in that aspect. So yet again this is a game that you should definitely consider getting, if you don't already own it. 1st

#13-Alan Wake (T)

I imagined this game to be good. I was wrong. It was a totally great game that deserved way more credit then it got for it innovation. It was a thrilling rollercoaster ride of darkness and true fun. The story is really original for gaming and the controls are… what's the word… oh ya… flipping perfect! It was the quickest I ever got used to controls and the idea was innovative. Instead of always shooting to kill you us light and then shoot. Or in Zombieland (movie) terms… Double Tap. It always works. This game deserves "most innovative and immersive game + epic story" award. Its 360's Uncharted. Even though there is no MP that's fine because I'd play the story twice in one day it's that good and Remedy, the creators are planning to big DLC episodes to continue and bridge the first game or season to the possible second game or second season. And I am not making the sequel stuff up. There was an interview with the head of Remedy saying Alan Wake 2 is a huge possibility and that they would really enjoy doing a second game. Oh and I did say the words "episode" and "season," the format of the game is built like a T.V show. Consisting of six episodes. And the "season" idea refers to each whole game. So this is a great game that you need to give it a try or dare I say it… buy it.

#12-Batman Arkham Asylum (T)

"Welcome to the madhouse," as joker says maniacally in this amazing videogame that like this years Transformer War For Cybertron took everybody by surprise being so good and gave the batman games something to be proud about. Oh and if you're a Batman fan like me along with this pick up The Dark Knight movie it is AWESOME. Getting back on track… this game was absolutely perfect. It had a great ****c and thrilling plot and tons of exciting and varying boss battles and brought new things to the franchise like the detective mode. In the lack of multiplayer the game makes up for it in ****with the predator and fight mode that incorporates a competitive high score board. The graphics are smooth on both consoles and are really good. To say there's something wrong with this would be a crime itself and batman should hunt you down because this game is flawless. Go buy this. NOW!

#11-Gears of War (series) (M)

To really epic games made by Epic Games. The first one won game of the year but had a lack of story but the second one made up for it with a great story. So I could not lave out either game. As I said the story in the first one was good but didn't really connect but was a full-fledged great bloody shooter that made aliens, guns, and chainsaws on guns fun again. And it has great multiplayer that nearly everyone would fun. The evolution of characters is cool between games and the characters themselves are cool too. The story in the second is original and exciting. So if you feel brutal and want to cut up some locusts go ahead and get this game!

#10-Bad Company (series) (T) (M)

Who doesn't like funny stuff? Who doesn't like fast-paced cinematic action shooters based in a destructible world. Who doesn't like blowing choppers out of the sky or putting a ton of C-4 on a humvee then driving it into a building, totally demolishing it and getting a triple kill? I do. All these experiences and more take place in this games and I have done it all. So go buy these games. But I'm done… these are by some of the cinematic shooters out there and they have a great plot. The multiplayer in both is the only shooter to actually let you drive vehicles in the multiplayer. Not only is the upgrade system is perfect in the both and but better in the sequel but it will take you forever to get to the highest level which is 50 in the second game. In the first it will take you a little less time because it goes to 25 but it balances out to be the same. So overall this game is just one of those ****cs.

#9-Grand Theft Auto 4 (M)

Now I know I'm going to be given hell for this but even if you are a huge fan of this game look at the big picture and all the amazing games on this list 9th is very good and this game is epic. So this game is really funny, really awesome, and really fun. But I warn you buy this game when you are mature. You'll find it way more fun and enjoyable then. One of the few games that got the legendary 10/10 and prime score for a prime game that has multiplayer and a great story. Pick this game up.

#8-God of War (series) (M)

The God Of War, the brutal game ever, which brings me to the 4 B's of GOW 3, Brutal, Bloody, Big, Bosses. Totally epic game that everyone with a PS3 needs to purchase, with an epic story line which takes place over a trilogy on the PS consoles and one portable. The plot is epic by all means and is summed up by 9 words: Kratos gets pissed… Kratos kills gods… Kratos gets even. Although there is no MP and so far no DLC, the game is just too fun to not play again and again. Plus you can unlock skins, which are really cool. Oh and the graphics are the best. No kidding, this game is up there with the graphics. Buy this because you really don't want Kratos coming for you…

#7-Red Dead Redemption

This game is not only better then GTA 4 but showed as a new world that has not been done justice in video games. That's right… the Wild West. The house of the rising sun. The scenario: the Wild West dying and its up to John Marton wrangle it. This is one of my favorite games and is made by the fellows that made GTA, the god of games that seem to always having to do something with the fuzz. This game is epic and has a huge wide-open sandbox area to explore and a ton of other things to do other then the story. With treasures to find, strangers to help, animals to hunt, and an epic story to complete you will never get bored… and even if you do complete all those things the west is a living world and random stuff happens. Plus really good MP, plus CO-OP as a free download, plus this is a freaking good game, you cannot go wrong with this purchase.

#6- Super Mario Galaxy 2 (E) + Metal Gear Solid 4 (M) (TIE)

Well coming across a tie is rare but almost unavoidable in a huge list like this. Mario is a legendary series that has been a favorite to everyone and anyone. This is the most epic Mario ever to come on the shelves. Mario Galaxy has amazing graphics for a Wii and is such a good game. The only wii game to ever score a 10/10 and of coarse an exclusive to the wii. Then there's Metal Gear Solid 4 another good game which is an exclusive to the PS3 and achieved a perfect 10/10 as well. Both great games and both worth the buy.
