Ok, so here we go, I've put my second Points Assist on my blog for you to get easier access to it. Also, because I don't think I have any friends on here, so it would be great if you could add me (or track me) or whatever the hell you do on here now. Anyway, here's my second video and there's loads more from where this came from.

It was christmas day yesterday and i recieved a couple of games as is my usual standard.  These were Viva Pinata and call of Duty 3 both for the Xbox 360.  Both games are great- especialy Viva pinata, witch compleatly met my expectations of what i thought it would be like- which is always nice.  Call of Duty...Well, it's Call of Duty isn't it?

 Enough said.

But...whilst playing those games, there was something niggling at the back of my brain.  On the streets, i think they call it Gears of War.

I needed it.  It wanted me.  So we tango'd together for a few hours.  then i was satisfied, so i went back on Call of Duty 3. 

i need my daily fix of Gears, see...

I, along with millions of other people, owned a Playstation 2.  In my opinion, I found it to be the best out of the 3 last gen consoles which is why I bought it.  I didn’t have to money back then to buy for more than one console.  But now is different.  As many of you will know, I am the proud owner of a loved Xbox360, which I play on every day.  Fortunately, I now have enough money to buy another next gen console which will obviously by the Wii.  That’s the obvious choice to make seen as Sony and Microsoft both offer similar things with their consoles.  High power, a high standard of HD visual quality and games that are for the most part:  shooters.  Not saying there’s anything wrong with shooters, look at Gears of War.  We all know how excited I am to get that game (in two days time).  The Wii offers something different though, platformers.  Adventure.  Action.  Puzzle.  All of the things that I want other than shooters (and role playing games which are spread out over all of the consoles).   

Yeah, the Wii offers everything else that my Xbox360 can’t provide…it’s got that real original thing going on that Nintendo is known for…But the Playstation 3…I don’t have a reason to buy that, do I?  Resistance is the game that I’d undoubtedly get with the console.  One, just because I have played every Ratchet and Clank game to date and found them to be very high on my list of favorite  PS2 games, therefore, I can tell that this will also, be quite grand!  Secondly, I think the game does look phenomenal, with the fusion of genres going on, I think Insomniac have a very promising title on their hands.  I don’t really like the multiplayer on that thing though, 20 on 20 are just too much for me, and I am not a real fan of run ‘n gunning.  I also don’t like the size of the maps:  they’re just too big. If you die it’ll take you 5 or 6 minutes to get back into the action.  Other than this game, the only other exclusive title that tickles my proverbial taste buds is lair.  I think that game is outstanding, it may get a little tedious after a while, but as a technical show case, it looks phenomenal (especially in 1080p).  The draw distance on that mother is enough to make your jaw drop!  I also love the fact that there are binary tasks to complete.  For example, on the video I saw, you were flying around using the tilt support on the six axis controller, kicking the crap out of the other dragons, whilst you, as the human on the dragons back, were able to jump onto the other dragons and stab them and kill them that way.  Whilst the war in the sky is occurring, on the bridge, a similar thing is happening.  The humans are waging war against one another so you and your dragon go down onto the bridge and breathe fire on the thousands of thousands standing there.  It really is a spectacle to watch!

The thing is though, games like those on the PS3 are already out on the 360, so until something amazingly fantastic comes along, it’ll be just me, my Xbox360 and my Wii ( as of around Febuary).

Playstation 3! Hell I don’t need you!

Fellow gamers.  i think it is fair to say that I am in the sh*t.  I have money, but my problem is that I have no job so if I decide to spend that money on silly things like going outside, which can be fun on te oddcasion, then I'll end up with no money left to buy games that are going to come out in the future, for examlpe Mass Effect for the Xbox 360 which looks fenominal. 

I'm trying to budget my money see, which is quite a sensible idea, but please...if you have a heart (and it isn't dead) then donate to this poor, helpless gamer. 

Donations of all sizes are ok but giving me your Wii will be generous enough I think. 

Yeah...Gears of war in 3 days...

Hi, so i just opened up Gamespot for my daily skan of the site and what do i find but the Gears of War review.  I really hoped that the game would get a really high score, and as a huge fan of the game, I'm extreamly happy about the 9.6.  Go Jeff! Anyway, moving on, i think this is the game i'm going to spend the next half a year or year playing multiplayer with when times get boring.  At the moment, that game's GRAW, so it'll be great to play something else. 

So....Gears of War... 10 more days. 

So here i am a week later and all i can be bothered to do is to put 30 or so games onto my game collection page and make a banner for my profile, i should get around to making a signature (with my very limited skill, i'm more of a film guy, just wait until i get to level 10!). 

I've got half an hour to make some more 'stuff' to put up here so i'll be going now.

Wow...It really feels weird starting over again on Gamespot at level 1.  The reason though, is simple, and is not really my falt:   I got banned from my previous account because my best mate wrote in the forums some weird things which got me banned and so, after all of this time in rehab over the loss of my level 10 (ish) account, I have started again. 

Ahead of me now is the long proccess of placing all of my games and reviews back onto the site...God...This may take me a lifetime so i'd better get going!  Bye for now.
