I didn't think 2008 would be the year of the PS3 either.

2008 was the year of Wii third party developers announcing games that will be released in 2009. Therefore making 2009 the year of the Wii.

AzatiS

No comment for that...

2007 was the year of the Wii.
2008 is the year of the Wii.
2009 will be the year of the Wii.

[QUOTE="LibertySaint"]looks like it does and looks better then SMG.air_wolf_cubed

only becasue he used the worst possible screens for SMG

Oh I did not! I used one screenshot of Galaxy which looks better than all of the screenshots you posted. Both games look good but Mushroom Men isn't out yet. Mario Galaxy didn't look as good before we saw it in action either.

it comes out in 3 months its not going to look any better

Not that Mushroom Men really needs to look better. IMO it's a lot more visually appealing than The Conduit. But still you never know.

I hope more companies adopt Motion Plus. I'm really looking forward to it on the Wii.

Flight of the Conchords are awesome dude.

7.5 - Marked down for horrible camera control and/or control scheme. You heard it here first.Stonin

I have a hunch that Mushroom Men will score higher than R&CFToD.

I think it will score 8.5 - 9.0. I will go with the latter because I have balls of steel.

[QUOTE="Pangster007"]

Excellently-written thread TC. Picked out great titles that i personally am looking forward to (including RS2, believe it or not). It was a good read.

[QUOTE="SER69"]They're all comming except Kid Icarus. I know this.fabz_95

This is the stance that i'm holding too.

Lol woo someone else who cares about RS2 :D

Anyway I agree great thread TC

I never played the first Red Steel. I hyped it until I discovered it didn't use 1:1 swordplay.

Since Motion Plus has been confirmed to support Red Steel 2, I am officially hyped for Red Steel again. :D

Why is it worthy of hype? I really didn't get why it was worthy of hype. i have seen gameplay and it looks mediocre at best.Krigon

why is it worthy of hype? well if it wasn't getting any, wouldn't the argument be that sheep don't hype anything other than nintendo games? its a nice refreshing original ip, if it flops oh well at least it was original without being overly ambitious and overly hypedvoxware00

I don't think it looks mediocre Krigon. Mushroom Men is a Wii title that is rarely hyped by anyone despite having several unique concepts. I think that makes Mushroom Men underhyped.

It looks good and so does the level design. For the first time since Super Mario Galaxy I want to play a game because of the environmental setting. But also because the gameplay seems well developed.
