What do you guys think of Deadly Creatures and Mushroom Men? Both of them offer a miniaturized perspective which I find interesting. Mushroom Men is a platformer and Deadly Creatures is more of a roaming hack 'n' slash action game, but without normal genre defining characterization.

So Mushroom Men lets you make your own weapons and focuses on creativity and lets you use physics & telekenesis using the pointer. Deadly Creatures lets you choose your insect and comes with more strategic fighting moves, and is story driven. Apparently it has an interesting plot device, and the story is dark.

The Scorpion and Spider are not insects.

I'm not calling them arthropods in this forum. People wouldn't know what I mean. :P

I dont think we need more platformers, there are plenty, what we really need is more ADVENTURE games like Monkey Island etc.

Haha thats what those "next gen" consoles miss - great humor and hand drawn art

Good thing is that there are still some indie devs for pc

st1ka

monkey island is awesome, i still have MI 3 and 4

1 & 2 where better. The first Monkey Island game was revolutionary for it's day.

Gamecube was the best. Not the startup, the menu theme.

DS fanboys state that PSP died, reality is a different story... its not getting 40 games a month thats for sure...

qewrewq

40 games a month would be 40 more than it's getting now.

Link

That's why he said "it's not", I'd rather have a few great games a month than 160 games that are mostly crap

160 games? It's not getting any games for months on end. Did you click on the link? This isn't the first time this has happened.

Are you a joke poster or do you just lack reading skills.

What "Great Game" was released in July?

are u a DS fanboy or somthing, been arguing with your friends that the ds is btter than the psp? why do u find the need to try proove that the psp is dead? cyprusxx

Your assumption is wrong, if anything I prefer the oldschool PC platform.

PSP has had a number of recent lulz this month. Like the hilariously funny piracy quote from Sony. It's pretty much on Life Support. 2008 will be remembered as the final year of the PSP.

The following titles stand out for me.

Mushroom Men
Wario Land! Shake It
Oboro Muramasa Yotoden
LittleBigPlanet

Also Super Mario World 3: Yoshi's Island DS was released this generation, as was Contra 4 and Super Mario Bros. 4.

Civilization

It's consistently AAA and never gets ripped off. It's been going for ages.
