I seriously question your ability to analyze games.

You have pretty much lost all credibility.

Self Ownage right there man. Wario Land is a complicated and deep platform game with layers of gameplay.

The problem with every Cow in this thread is that they underestimate Wario Land. They must assume that it's Kiddy and not worth mentioning.

You keep saying how deep this game is but I'm looking at what your saying man and I'm looking around at the game and I just don't have a clue what you find so amazingly deep and complicated about it. What previous warioland games have you played?

Wario Land is a very layered platform game. LittleBigPlanet has a single layer of gameplay that is heavily customizable.

Well I'll guess not many then. Ok but a thing about customisation with the level that lbp has it is that on the content sharing front the levels become as deep and layered as the creators imagination because people can come up with some crazy stuff when given half the tools to do it. Games like garrys mod prove that and have you considered how all this extra stuff that lbp is offering is going to be a huge push on the score. I mean it has co-op man as well and content sharing gives it potentially unlimited replayability an edge usually only pc games have.

I mean you might just be able to push past these things to call warioland shaked a better single player game and that this somehow makes it a better platformer here but you can't brush all that other stuff lbp if offering when were talking about scores man because the reviewers sure won't.

The last Wario game I played was Wario Land 4 on the Gameboy Advance. This is Wario Land 5.

As for customization effecting the complexity of the gameplay, as with all tool editors LBP is limited. It looks like the best level editing game ever made, but the platforming elements are very one dimensional.

You're telling me this looks like a better platforming game than this or this?verbtex

LittleBigPlanet is the platform genre dumbed down so that it can be customized.

LBP has a much wider appeal, more hype and insane production values. It's going to be a massive high scoring hit. But even though it wont keep me from enjoying a long awaited Wario Land sequel probably more. Wario Land Shake is absolutely gorgeous. Sadly it will be insanely overlooked even though it' looks to be a 8.0 game by far.

Gamingcucumber

Why should it only score around 8.0? It looks like one of the best side scrolling platform games I have seen in a whole decade. Would you subtract points because of lack of hype?

Are you saying that 78% of people on this board are cows.

gatorteen

Of course not.

Besides, those people only predict the outcome. I predict that Wario Land will be the better game at it's core.

I will probably be able to recreate Wario Land Shake on LBP.

gatorteen

hahahahhaah u owned him man. i was bout to say that too. nice job

That is like saying Gears of War could be ported to the Wii with identical graphics. LittleBigPlanet can't handle Wario Land. Wario Land is an extremely sophisticated platformer.

A game doesnt have to be complex to be good.

True.

did the tc try to be sarcastic ?legol1

No.

I sincerely do believe that LittleBigPlanet offers a rather more shallow platforming experience than Wario Land once you get past the customization.

No other Platformer is on LBPs level of innovation, And I mean nothing, Putting wario land against LBP is like putting anything ever released against Mgs4, the Challenger loses instantly.AgentA-Mi6

Obviously Metal Gear Solid 4 isn't as good as The Secret of Monkey Island.

i am done with these 2d games, if i wanted to play these 2d games then i can just take out my old nintendo systems and my ps1. Wario is not better, give up! it isnt even hyped as much as LBP

DirtyHorse

I do realize that Wario Land isn't hyped as much as LBP. LittleBigPlanet is a casual platformer with hardcore editing tools, while Wario Land is a proper platformer.

As games they stand about equal, but as sheer platform games LittleBigPlanet can't stand up to Wario.
