RSV2 First Thoughts

This game is sad to say happens to be my first Rainbow Six game that i baught. Im proud to say that it was most defanately worth every penny. Although the game is a bit lacking in the Single Player campaign the Multiplayer sure makes up for its losses.

Single Player

Well I didn't have a chance to play the first RSV so I really didnt know what was going on, and I was a little confused. It's safe to say that it's my fault though. Still after playing the campaign it seemed to be really repetitive, have your squad go to a door...snake cam the door...tag the enemys, have them throw a flash, smoke, or nade and clear the room. They seem to have amazing shots and they kill the tagged enemys within seconds, they seem to be better then any of us will ever be. The story is kinda short... and lacking of that X factor most games have to make it special. However, you do gain xp in co op and in single player that will rank you up...which i thought was huge.

CO OP

The Co op is'nt too bad, but it's the exact same story as the single player so again, it will get repetitive. Player 1 is the only one that can tell ur squad what to do, to me that is bogus. When i played with my friend APOLLO CJD...whom is a friend in real life, he was squad leader and 50 percent of the time i had no idea what our team was doing because he was controlling them. He could hardly get any extra xp because he wasn't killing anything...not his fault though..hes a good player but he just normally had 3 guys going through the door before him. Another thing id the almighty GLITCH that everyone is talking about. When you beat the game on realistc co op alot of people arn't getting the achivement. The achievment is too complete story mode on realistic. Co op counts. People found there own ways to get the achivement but i sure hope i dont enconter that problem.

Multiplayer

By far the heart and soul in this game, sure alot of people are complaining about the graphics.. but what are you gonna do, cry me a river. Unlike the last RSV game every weapon can be good in its own way...as to the last game people chose stuck to 2 or 3 weapons. The last RSV game didn't have the greatest maps...everyone played Calipso Casion i think it was. RSV2 however, the majority of the maps ae great. You have your deathmatch, team deathmatch, eam leader which is like VIP and attack and defend. In attack and defend

Army of Two First Overview

So this is one of the highly anticipated games for me early this year. I bought it, and beat it the first day I got it, honestly if your thinking I just sat on my xbox for several hours straight I honestly didn''t. A good day of playing can easily beat this 6 mission game. Thats when i unlocked Professional and yea...it's alot tougher, and personally your AI partner just won't do the trick here.

Single Player

Not gonna lie it's pretty easy, but if your not playing with a friends good luck, when you go down and need to be healed. I wouldn't be prepared to rely on your AI partner. The game has a big replayable aspect to it tho, esspecialy if you want to upgrade and max out all of your weapons. If your looking for achivements...again your looking to play the game 4 times, and at least once with a human partner and another time with an AI partner.

CO OP

Definately the recommended game type to play in this game, not many games are made specifically made to be cooperativ, but this one ... truely u need an army of two. Its alot funner and alot easier to communicate with your partner when he isn't AI. I'm sure everyone will agree with me on that one. The AI can get frusterating in this game. But there is one reason why I have only been playing with AI, I want all the achiements for this game and alot of them require you to kill things with a certain weapon. Per mission i'd say I get about 100 kills and my AI partner will get aorund 20. If iI played with a human partner guaranteed it'll be 50/50. Not too good for killing achievements. but im sure ill be playing CO OP once I get all the achievments.

Multiplayer

While most people are thinking this game is based souly around its co op campaign, it has a great multiplayer. Its not just two on two, well it is, but there are a bunch of AI in the multiplayer level as well trying to shoot yout to throw you off, or sometimes even down you. You have to stick together with your partner or guaranteed you will lose. You will be given objectives, either assassinate a target AI in the level. Destory target objectives (a team will normally defend and one will attack) Or even rescuing an injured hostage. Anyways the team that does an objective during the game gets cash, and there is a time limit to each objective. The army of two with the most cash when time is up is victorious. Another achivement that will have you playing alot of multiplayer (to get 1 billion dollars overtime) Id say thats aournd a good 100 games.

The Good

While the achievements should give you a while to play the game, and the multiplayer has neverending amounts of fun to get all of your weapons unlocked. The game i'd say is prabobly one of the best Cooperative games ive ever played. If you want a real challenge though, I suggest trying to beat the campaign with the AI partner on professional.

the Bad

Your AI partner isn't the smartest cookie, and it has a very quick single player campaign. Another thing is that the online is REGION LOCKED. Only playing people inside your region, but you won't be getting partnered up with a person from china. Although he might be good, good luck communicating.

Overall

I give this game a 7.5 while it has a great coop the game lacks in a longer campaign, and im wondeing if there will be any point to play this game anymore after you've unlocked everything.
