So far, Supernatural is the only new series I've felt drawn to watch this season. Maybe it was the actors or the fact that it airs right after Gilmore Girls (one of my favorites). It's my type of show anyway - I love programs with a sci-fi/fantasy vibe. In a way, this show is what Faith the Vampire Slayer, the proposed Buffy spin-off that never happened, could have been. Young warriors traveling the country, righting supernatural wrongs and dealing with their own inner demons. Very cool, and very creepy too. I've been compiling two lists since the show's Pilot. One is a dictionary of all the supernatural creatures, symbols, and talismans that are referenced in the episodes (based on what is said on the show). The other is a summary of the legends in the places they visit and the real events that are behind them. This was just something I felt compelled to do after watching the first episode, don't ask me why. I'd like to share this information with anyone interested in developing a fansite for the series. It seems silly to do this work and not post it as a reference for the emerging fan communiyt. I have no webdesign experience myself, but if someone was willing to be show me the ropes I'd be willing to collaborate. Post a reply if you're interested. Meanwhile, I'll keep compiling for my own personal amusement.
