Absolute BS.

I sit 3 feet away from my 2020 50” 4K Tv, 1080p vs 4K is night and day regardless of how far/close you sit.

IT.IS.NIGHT.AND.DAY.

@rzxv04: thanks for that, clears up a lot of my questions, it seems even though with only 10.28 TFs in theoretical horse power, Sony’s boost in clock speed and all their other trickery makes the PS5 quite a “big” beast, my next question is, does the custom controller boost clock speeds via situations, or is it running at a consistently high clock speed at all times?

Now I see why the console has so much cooling for operating efficiencies.

As time goes on, all consoles get better from start to finish, both the SX and PS5 will continue to improve and mature overtime, just like all consoles that came before them, however, will the SX remain at a slight disadvantage compared to the PS5 due to its lower CPU speed?

And, what is a teraflop, why is it so important and how does it translate to better real world performance, and as such, is 10.28 TFs really all that drastically different from 12 TFs?

How will RDNA2 play into all this Aswell?

@ellos: oh my god, i miss clicking the next page and just seeing a massively long post of nothing but charts that take up half the page.

That said, it’s plainly obvious that PS5s main advantage is it’s clock speeds, it brute forces through scenarios where other games drop frames.

It will (probably) be the same for cyber punk, rendering cars,city,pedestrians,environments etc will take less of a hit on PS5 due to the clock speeds.
