I to enjoyed Qos, but with a fine crop of A1 titles due for release, this will have to take a back seat. I will fill my boots with Black ops, assasins creed before christmas. then start to trade stuff and pick up this and fallout second habd or at lower prices early in the new year.

My faves are, FPS modern warfare, mw 2 single player is crap compared with the first, all big set pieces with no story. Dead space and Bioshock run it close. but don't have the multiplayer draw of MW series.

Resident evil 5 was a good comback for 3rd person but Uncharted 1 and 2 did it for me, 1 taking top spot because it was the first PS3 title that the really wowed me, graphics looked special on this one.

An Honourable mention to Fifa 10, footy now looks the part and plays the part.

Oblivion was an interesting game for me, not usually my type of game but was good enough to make me buy fall out 3.

I'm not a fight game fan so can't comment on those, I like driving games but nothing has held my attention very long, NFS shift was ok for a while but no better than Race driver grid.

Overall I would have to say Uncharted 1, I am a lonely soldier and this was a great single player journey, number 2 was better and longer but was nothing more than I expected so did not have the wow factor. this can be said for several of the games I have mentioned or left out, good but not the first.

I really enjoyed dead space when I picked it from the bargain bin, I was desperate for some fps action in the middle of summer and this was well worth it. Not just a good shooter but some nice twists on the norm, like shooting off limbs rather than just blast at the head and body, and using the guns at the right angle to achieve this, very simple but made you think a little more than usual

It really depends on how you approach the game in the first place. You can complete tasks and finish the game then replay to complete side missions. If you tackle the side missions from the outset there is little to replay in my opinion as there are no alternate endings or characters to play as. You will however get tantalisingly close to a platinum trophy, I have seen the ease of this criticised elsewhere, but how many people have re entered the game because they were so close , rather than thought blow it. You must also consider that the game is pretty long in the first instance, you could have played some titles 3 times over by the time you finished the game first time round.
