Batman: Arkham Asylum finished

So I just finished Batman Arkham Asylum today, and I have to say, it was one of the best games that I have ever played. Not much has changed since my last blog, but I just love this game. It really is a great game, i recomend it to all, Batman Fan or not. I just really love how it all flows together, the characters blend really really well. I'll admit, they could have included a couple more villains, but The Joker was absolutely amazing. I love his character, especially in this game. He made the game a real home run. His relationship with Batman is one of a kind. The way he wants to kill him, but wants him alive also, for fun and games. It's like, Batman finds out he has to do something to stop Joker, and when he succeeds, Joker laughs it up, like it's some sick game..I love it. Anyways, this game is one of my favorites, and I will continue to play it.

Halo the Movie?

Well there have been a lot of rumors that there was going to be a Halo movie. It was suppost to be released in 2008, then 2009, then 2010 and 2011, but now I dont even know if its going to be made. It was going to be a Peter Jackson film. I was really looking forward to it. I think Halo in a movie would be absolutely amazing. Depending on who they got to star and when it would take place. They would need to be solid actors to play as characters such as Sergent Johnson, The Chief, Arbiter an Cortana. Nonetheless I really hope that it gets made, I think it could be a great movie. If anyone has any thoughts, like who they should cast, feel free to say :)

Batman: Arkham Asylum

Well today I FINALLY picked up my copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum and also began to play it. I didnt spend too much time on it, but it definately enough to pick up my first impressions of the game. I am about a third or half way thorugh the game, and I absolutely love it. Gamespot, I trusted you, Gamespot players, I trusted you, and you didn't let me down at all. Arkham Asylum is now one of my favorite games of all time, seriously. And now I can't wait to continue playing it. The game really drags you in, and does not let go. When you are playing it, you really feel like Bruce Wayne, The Dark Knight. Everything you see in the comics and movies, is possible in the game. You feel like you are the masked vigilante beating those criminals to a pulp with your bare hands (yes Morgan Freeman, yes). Not much more can be said, it makes you feel very powerful.

I really like the combat system, although a little easy, the combo's are very well done, a good balance with aerobics and just sheer brute domination. I think it just adds to the aspect of being the Bat, seeing how he is practically invincible. I really love the fact that the Riddler is added into the game. Not spoiling anything, but some of the riddles are challenging, and I like that. The detective aspect, gets a little repetitive, yet cool and unique for an action game. I love the characters, Batman looks and sounds like the movie character we all love, as does the Joker. His sick sense of humor makes me laugh at times, and freaks me out at others. From what I have experienced, the environment of the Asylum is very well done and really scares me. I relate a lot of it to the Saw movie saga, but that's just my opinion. I love the blend of villains that they have incorporated into the game, although Harley Quinn is very very annoying, but I can't get enough of her outfit. :P

Overall, so far, I love the game and I'm very excited to continue playing it. I cant wait to see who else/what else is in the game. To see what more Batman does to Arkham Asylum, and the long awaited ending of the intense game. Ill post another blog later on about the game.

Halo Saga

The Halo series was and still is, in my opinion, the best first person shooter games ever made. Truly original, fun, and just wonderful to play. The graphics are ahead of its time, and the way the game is played through, its so smooth, combat, story, everything fits together so well. Halo 3 ODST, will now bring an edge to the game that hasnt been seen. I'm really glad to see that Bungie is experimenting with the Halo title, and I can speak for many others, that i am pumped for its release. I really want Bungie to keep going with this, i dont think i could ever see the end to Halo, its just not the time.
