Okay, so the September 30th TV.com blackout is now complete. Let's hope for success! Here are my top five problems with this new site:
Brightness: Seriously, not only does it give me massive headaches, but it's just ugly. I feel like I've wandered into a teenage wonderland. This is what I'd expect from other websites. That very preppy, perky, bright, colorful feel that is like almost every other website out there. I miss the nice homey feel this used to have.
Overall Format: It's all too cluttered. Add to the brightness and now on top of headache, I've got nausea.
Text: Seriously, are you trying to make us go blind? If so, bravo, you will probably soon succeed! With how bright the colors are, and our now throbbing heads, you can just imagine the joys of having to squint or lean in closer to the screen in order to read a post. Fun, fun!
No Emoticons In Blog Comments: I'm a pretty sarcastic person, but it all comes from the warmest places in my heart. So when I'm cracking a joke at someone, I'd like to be able to use a smiley to show them I'm joking so they don't take it the wrong way and make me look and feel like a biotch.
Last by like hell is it least, the fact that we didn't even get a choice. This may be run by big-wig ijits (that's right, I said IJITS!!!) who think they know what we want or like, but the truth of the matter is they don't know squat. So they dump this load on us and expect us to love it. I think the majority has made it clear. We don't want out home messed with. And we don't like it when we don't have a say in it.:evil::evil:
