My dad has one, loves it. He only uses email and the internet most of the time though. ButI like keep my phones simple just calling and texting all i need, i dont really need the personalization part but if i have it, what the heck, throw some ringtones in and wallpaper and BOOM! Done. :)
I know its sad just look for like a small old tube tv at a yard sale, plug in that boom all set. Cause the hd tvs are too advanced for an older system like that.
HDTV's are not too advanced for older consoles. You can plug in a GameCube's AV cables into a Snes and N64. There are options. However, I prefer standard television sets rather than high definition ones. Yeah I'm not the best at this sort stuff but i do the best i can.

regardless the game is hard to look at. no i realy mean its har to look at. my eyes kinda hurt after playing for too long. their mvment just kinda hurts to look at.
