For some reason, I can't seem to start a new game, while powering up "Portal" for the first time.

Anyone know why this could be happening?

What u want is an emulator of the PS1, wich would be able to run roms on. This has not happened yet, it is being worked on, or has been worked on but it does not work well at all. You cannot play any games with it.

I believe that in a few years it will exsist but other then that no, u cannot play PS1 roms on ur PSP.

The PSP will not have a redesign like the DS because it cant possibly look any different (better) since it is perfect... the screen is exactly the right size for it to be an exciting adventure without having to have a huge console... Sony made it so that the system would be the smallest with all its features so there is nothing to improve. What Sony "might" do is just add some features to the already indisputible PSP design such as - longer battary, hard drive and second analog stick.

Nintendo just made it bulky for no reason. Thats why they made it cooler now.

PSP is better. It uses a stronger proccesor.

Just on the top of my head - Touch screen, sharpness, location free internet.

Ive been a console owner since i was 5.....nes, gameboy, n64, then xbox.

My parents would NEVER buy me games when i was a kid...i basically got one game a year at xmas, so i only ever got the AAA titles (I still only own about 3 xbox games.)

Now im 24, and have been buying my own games for hte last 5 years.....but i always just rented games. I would rent alllll the time...like 2 or 3 games a week, and beat them and return them......why buy when you can rent....id just buy the games with replayability.

Since Ive bought my DS, i cant stop buying games! Ive had it for a week, and got electroplankton and castlevania.....then i bought kirby....then i bought mario kart and metroid fusion,........now i want advanced wars and phoenix wright.

Im soooo broke, as a college student. I couldnt even afford to buy my DS to begin with...and now i just keep buying games.......even if i could rent them, i dont think i would.

Anyone else out there who has never been a game buyer, and is now binge buying games???
