Resynching isn't doing anything. I just find it strange how my cursor will move, but it's not detecting the "swinging".

Hey, folks. Like many of us here, I am now the proud owner of a Nintendo Wii. Picked mine up at Midnight at my local EB, thanks to my preorder. And, of course, I immediately hooked it up and played it; probably for a good three hours before passing out. I've played Wii Sports and Twilight Princess flawlessly. But then, when I woke up this morning to play the Wii, I noticed something. The controller wasn't completely working.

What I mean by this is that, well, it's picking up the controller. The cursor moves, I can select stuff, and the like. But, when I try to swing the controller, nothing registers. For example, loading up Wii Sports' Baseball, the controller does not register as there, and my Mii will just constantly swing. I can't control it. In Bowling, it doesn't register the movement of the controller either, but it will register when I hold down the B button. And in Zelda, I can move around with the Nunchuk just fine, I can spin attack, Z target, and everything. Navi moves around when I move the remote, but when I try to swing the remote for a sword slash, nothing registers.

Has anybody else had this problem? Anybody know how to fix this?
