[QUOTE="Elann2008"]If you OC that processor, you'll have no problem stomping Crysis to the ground. It looks like you have a Q9550.Elann2008

yes it is Q9550^^ thx :)

Seeing as how you have that beefy rig and one day you might throw in another GTX280, I'll play it safe with a 1000w PSU. I highly recommend a Corsair HX 1000w PSU. It's modular too.

hmm it will add around 80$ to the overall cost but yeah, always play it safe ;)

Ty very much

Hmm, interesting "Quadcore 2.8" never heard of that cpu. :P

Try to give complete specs next time sometimes some parts can be incompatible when listing them.

Anyway to the answers.

1: Yes, it should be able to run it on very high settings no problems :)

2: Yes, you only need a DVI to HDMI adapter

3. No, SLI is only compatable with a similar card (GTX280 with GTX280 // 8800GTX with 8800GTX). You can use up to 3 GTX280 in Tri SLI with the 790i motherboard

4. Depends, how long you like to upgrade, it can be 1-5 years.

Good luck! :D

wklzip

aaah thank you very much for the informative...erm info =P

actually iam not a guru in names so I forgot the exact name of the Proc. but my friend is a guru so no problems in any compatabilities issues^^

/cheers^^

Greetings ppl and thank you for helping me out overhere!

I have extra cash and I want to spend it on a super gaming comp.

here are the specs:

proc: Quadcore 2.8

MotherBoard: EVGA 790i SLI

HD: 500 G, 32 MB cach

VGA: EVGA GeForce GTX 280

Power Supply: 850 Watt (is this enough or do I need more power?)

My questions are:

Q1=Is this pc capable of playing super games like Crysis in full specs with no problems at all?

Q2=Can I use HDMI connection between this comp and my LCD?

Q3=My old pc has Geforce 8800 GXT, can I add it along side EVGA GeForce GTX 280 using SLI-2 function?

Q4=How long do you thing this pc will last in future till I need to upgrade?

I do appreciate your help and time reading this thread and giving me some valuable help^^

[QUOTE="REforever101"]

[QUOTE="kozzy1234"]The game is awesome, im about 20 hours into it, on disc two and im loving every minute of it so far :D1_Hit_Killer

woah, how long is this game?

im 5 hours in (disc 1 obviously). but ure 20 hours and still only on disc 2?!?!

I'm like 26 hours in and finishing up Disc 2 but I'm also looking for items and taking my time with it. Normally people finish it in 40-60 hours. Also take note that Disc 4 is the longest by far so if you feel you're playing a lot and still playing the first 3 discs in you're in for a ride when you reach thr fourth.

This game comes in 4 discs =O ???
