I personally have the 42" HDTV that Couth_ suggested, Insignia is a very solid brand made by Best Buy, unfortunately its $996 not $999. If your going with the Bravia, definately price compare with those, they can get a bit expensive.
I played FF7 and absolutely loved it, but I think I may have loved it too much as I refuse to play any of the FF games made after that for fear that I'll just be disappointed that it wasn't as good as seven. So I was wondering how the more recent ones are and if I should check them out. Are they better, worse, or different enough that there's no comparison?
Also, I was wondering if anyone knows why the series is called "Final Fantasy"? Thanks.

Please for the love of god if you are a fan of RPGs then just play them all starting at 1, because they are all great, FF8 even being a good improvement over 7. Also project-exile is spot on about the meaning, being that Final Fantasy was going to be Squaresoft's last game but ended up being a big success.
YES, it has online splitscreen, i got to the second to last mission yesterday playing co-op with a friend, we played a couple of rounds online as well and it was pretty fun. Also i should note that you use the same name in splitscreen, similar to warhawk, not sure if it lets you play ranked matches or not though, another worthy feature i thought was cool is that it gives you access to your friends list while your playing the game, a feature i actually have not seen before its pretty cool.
On ign's website it shows RE 5 is tba 2009. Capcom announced RE5 before the the ps3 and 360 even hit the market. Why the heck are they taking so long? yeah I know perfection takes time, but not this much time.redskins2156
Well if you think about it Killzone 2 has been in development just as long and they are sill working on it, just give em some time I'm sure it will be a great game.
