Hi, there, Triple_H90 here.
So I've just watched the E3 2007 Sony press conference. Earlier this morning I've watched the E3 2007 Microsoft press conference too. I liked one of them... and the other one was kind of boring. The good one was Microsoft's. And I am not a fanboy of any console as I do own both Microsoft and Sony consoles. I've had PS-one and I currently own a PS2, so I do support both companies. I am just telling the truth, Sony's press conference was boring and embarrassing. What's the deal with Chewbacca? That was ridiculous. Anyways, I did like some of the stuff they showed, like Home. It looked kind of interesting, but nowhere near to match the online community of Xbox. PlayStation Network is just not there yet, but it's a good start. I liked the Killzone 2 trailer, the start was good and then it got kind of weird, so I'm not excited about that game. The highlight of course was Metal Gear Solid 4! That trailer looked sick! It was so freaking good. The fighting scene at the end with Raiden... PERFECT! (Raiden is my favorite MGS character btw) Microsoft press conference was good and entertaining pretty much the whole way through. One big, and I mean BIG disappointment though... Halo 3. Halo 3? Yes, Halo 3. What the hell? Those graphics looked like Halo 2. Well, maybe a little better, but what the hell? Assassin's Creed looked awesome, Gears of War PC looked cool (although I hope that extra content comes as DLC for XBL), and then of course games like Mass Effect (didn't like that much, but I guess it's good). The problem with Sony's conference wasn't the things they showed, it's how they showed them, in a really boring way. Not as entertaining as Microsoft did. And the price drop, 100$? Come on.
So there you have it, E3, didn't watch the Nintendo's conference because I'm not a fan. But I did watch a little at the end, funny stuff.
