I just got my Wii this month and the only game I have is Wii Sports so far.  But I've owned a Gamecube, Xbox, PS2, etc., etc., and I've seen the graphics for various games on the Xbox 360, PS3, and other Wii titles.  The fact is that cross platform games are going to look better on the 360 and PS3.  Games developed for the Wii on the Wii are going to look just fine, however, and will improve with time.

By the way, I'd rather play a game with simpler graphics and jaggies and use the Wii controller doing it then I would playing it with prettier graphics on another console but without the Wii controller.  I can get pretty graphics on my PC.  For pure fun nothing really beats getting into the game like you can with the Wiimote.

Just judging from having played the demos, I'd say CoH is better. I agree with the people here that have said C&C3 just feels stale.

I never heard of "Guilds of War", either. I saw the topic and thought you meant "God of War" and was going to reply that they're completely different types of games. Having never heard of the one I can't comment on which is better. WoW was entertaining for a while. It got boring for me. Your mileage may vary.

The mobility Radeon 9000 only supports up to DirectX 8.1. The minimum spec for FSX calls for a card that can support 9.0c. I have a feeling that the game just will not run on that graphics processor for that reason. That being said FSX is probably worth a PC upgrade just so you can play it :)

Within the last 6 months or so I've loaded up both the original one here at work and D2 at home again. Didn't play them for more than a couple of weeks (I played the hell out of them, so to speak, back in the day) but it was fun to jump back in. Until I hit the desert in D2 (Act 2?). I really hated that part...

[QUOTE="Troika"]I leveled several characters while I played WoW and never got a one of them over 25th before getting bored. Part of it was becoming a dad during that time period (anyone who doesn't have one, take note: new baby = very short periods of gaming). I finally just quit and haven't really looked back or missed it much.BounceDK
I'll sign that. Got mine 1.6 years (not months) ago but it's going better with my hobby now - which is gaming. I'm still tired and in a bad mood everyday but that doesn't stop me ;)

Hang in there. I'm almost 3 years in and they start sleeping a lot better and one schedule. My gaming is strictly after 8pm but at least I can still do it :) As far as mmorg's go, I've got my eye on the upcoming Warhammer online game.

I agree with the people saying that PC's and consoles are getting closer together. I, for one, welcome our new ant overlords. Actually, I don't really care what the device I game on is called or whether I'm gaming on a television or pc monitor. The main thing I dislike about console games, besides the fact that there aren't many strategy games in that format (though that's changing), is the controller. I love the mouse and keyboard and I'm not nearly as good with a controller.

KOTOR- good rpg; I was really able to get into this. If you liked the second one you'll probably love the original. Played through it a couple of times. Oblivion- I've been playing this since it came out, off and on. COMPLETELY different sort of game from KOTOR. KOTOR offers a far more focused experience. Having said that I highly recommend Oblivion. I've been playing it off and on since release (with hundreds of hours into it). Your hardware can handle it, though you'll have to crank down the graphics. Look for advice on tweaking graphics on the Oblivion forums.

I started playing the PC version of Far Cry just this year myself. I'd played the demo before but never had the full game until someone gave it to me. I just couldn't get into it. It's got great combat, but that was about it, and the graphics are more than adequate, even today. I like to pick it up when I needed a quick 30 minute dose of blasting someone but just don't like to sit down with it for much longer then that. Don't know why.
