Love having the Switch, playing such great nostalgic titles, alongside my PC and Xbox One S and coming soon X; been so close to getting a PS for the awesome exclusives. I'm rooting for gaming all the way around regardless of the platform.
Thought this article summarized your point fairly well; I'm really liking these in-between games. These games get right to the point. I greatly enjoyed Hellblade for what it was; a different take on the way a character is played, while still adding quality touches to other elements that fit. Dishonored: DotO is no different.
@dodgers0022: I couldn't agree more with this post! I'm vastly loving this game... Maybe it's just my age showing. I took in what this game really is... A relaxing, open space/planet exploration, randomized, subtle deductive story adventure that will continue to be added on overtime. I have spent the past 40 hours in the starter system and just made it to the last planet in the system. I'm in no rush! One day I may farm out monoliths and plagues to learn more about the Korvax and the mystery behind the sentinals, or going blueprint scavenging, the next I may go on distress signal hunts, and the next I may go crazy mining gold/emerald etc... There is no direct path and I'm just enjoying the journey. It's so cool because as I was mining lots of emerald, I was watching the Olympics on the TV above. I even sat in the Space station for an hour just checking out all the different spaceships that came in, kind of like going to a car dealership. This may not be someone else's cup of tea, and I understand that... But this game is a very nice break from other games that I normally play. It's also a great little escape from the daily grind of work/parenting tasks. It's so great just feeling alone and being the first to pioneer areas and discover the crazy fauna/flora/life that inhabit planets. If I want to blast off and see what other crazy atmosphere I can get into, I do!
