[QUOTE="erdymann"]Dude you have no idea what you are talking about. SONY is doing something to help fight cancer. How is that a marketing campaign. Why don't you post something that actually contributes to this board instead of coming on here and trashing something that you nothing about.[QUOTE="surferdude17"]I'm assuming you have no idea what the effects of cancer can have on your lifeBloodzombie77
because then brilliant people that know everything about it. (Like yourself) Wouldn't post in defense of the holy sony. I hate seeing people profit off the miss fortune of others. And then try to look like saints.
I take it your like, 10 or something? You act as if they are causing cancer. And uh....how can they profit from it if they're aren't charging ppl to use it? Do humanity a favor and think about what you say firstBloodzombie77
I think I'm embarassed for you. Bloodzombie77 please take some of yor own advice.
Are you guys ( not bloodzomb) saying this isnt a marketing ploy? Really

OK..ok I suppose its ok that sony is using cancer to sell its products and push a new format on the the people of the world. You are possibly maybe doing something ...maybe.
So I guess its fine and great. As long as you know its for scum bag reasons that its being made available. Not because sony is "good people" . Its called free press. Its not like they are giving billions to medicine. Just realize.
And the poster above me has issues . If you know what i mean...eh ...EHH*wink*
Many people don't know that but yes I think this is just some marketing campaign. What you will be doing is running up your electricity bill and shorten the lifespan of the console.
This might be the new PS3 slogan "Buy a PS3 it can cure cancer"
Deihmos
Yeah. If they use that slogan mybe someone in australia would buy one.
congratulations on buying into a marketing campaign of a troubled video game console.
Prolly shortening the lifespan of your investment . not to mention helping fill the pockets of the electric companies , and japanese business men. Oh yeah .. and possibly.. maybe .. perhaps helping cure cancer... wink wink. Oh, and you could have been folding on your pc for like 10 years now. BLUERAY!
Lol that is pretty funny.
On a serious note though. Is the game really that large? I can't think of any highend pc game over 10 gigs (20 if any such exist). A game at 50 gigs, well damn if that's true then expect a lot.

No. But if I was unlucky enough to own a ps3. I would be clinging to lthe "atleast it has Blueray" thing aswell. What else are you going to do? Play games ? LOL
