Just taking a few random courses: a course in fundamental logic, an introductory course in anthropology, and an introductory geology course Next year I'm going to work towards a degree in education. Be a high school science teacher. and I'm subsidizing funds by being a high school tutor.
There's really nothing to say about the strumming with your fingers thing other than that you'll get better at it. There's really no secret trick to it. Try and look at some internet tutorials to make sure you have the right technique, but other than that you just have to practice it. Just keep saying a mantra to yourself, like "Steve Vai used to suck this much too! There's hope for me yet!" :P that's what I did, anyways.
You're right! It all makes sense now! There's a possible explanation! Now I can latch on to an improbable, conspiracy-theory-style explanation instead of the probable, proven explanation that teenage kids with too much time on their hands just want to screw with peoples' bank accounts
Also, try and place your fingers closer to the fret when you play the chord. It'll allow you to put less pressure on the string and still stop it from buzzing.
It's really difficult to narrow it down to just one, but I would probably go with either strong Swiss cheese or 10-year aged cheddar. some slices of aged cheddar with a glass of Duvel. mmm. Fantasmic. What about you guys?
Hockey. Man, I love that NHL action... Oh, you mean VIDEOgames? You should post that in General Game Discussion. Off-Topic is for anything that doesn't have anything to do with videogames. Like cheese :D
[QUOTE="sexy_fool69"][QUOTE="Tu_Quoque"]I've asked "how the heck to they get here" before, but it doesn't really bother me because I'm still better academically than they are. I'm currently in a "rocks for jocks" class to boost my GPA and it's pretty funny how easy the class is Many questions on midterms are as follows: what is the gas in our atmosphere that is responsible for keeping the earth warm? a) oxygen b) nitrogen c) carbon dioxide d) helium and yet there are some who have failed the midterm... :| rocks for jocks? you dont by any chance go to U of C do you? Haha, I totally do :P I didn't know that nickname was specific to this university, I thought it was just a generic term for any introductory geology course that's pathetically easy
I think more details would be necessary. For example, is this with a specific website community? Or random people? Is the topic at hand a real issue or something that people will have to randomly select, such as "who's a nicer person? Me or Jack?".
I think it would be cool, but that's a LOT of food. Seems like you'd need to have a good 12 people over for Thanksgiving at least to make a turkducken worth it. My thanksgivings/christmases are at most 5 people, occasionally 6. So we have enough trouble even making a dent on a mid-sized turkey, let alone a chicken and duck as well.
