I realize this is an aging thread, but that means nothing. Just to toss out my $.02. I'm an old gamer that loves to indulge in my toys. I have 3# 26" screens with the trip2go and just wanted to tell a brief true story since it is just like what I just read here. I said the same thing about the bezels ("I can't see how those don't distract you! blah blah blah"). Having now gamed over a year with my set up complete with "huge bars" ;) , I can tell you, not once did I ever notice them, well not with triple screens anyway. 2 monitors was torture since the bezel was right in the middle of your screen. Being both a 1st person (shooter) gamer and a flight simmer, not once have I looked at the bezels, ever. Anywho, the funny story part of all this is I have 3 forums and one is an aviation forum (DanTrix.net). I had the luxury of meeting one of my moderators in person a few months ago, someone who also thought only about those damn bezels. We went out for some food, some pool and beers and then he wanted to check out the rig. Now after listening to my friend here nag me about how he couldn't deal with the bezels for several months and seeing his reaction was what made this so priceless for me. After I let him try several games, FSX, Dirt2, Alien vs Pred, BF2 bad company, etc. I asked him; "So how about them bezels?", he had to look back at the monitor to see that they were there and just started laughing. His words and my initial reaction after having been against the idea for the same reason was "Wow, I never noticed them for a second". Of course not, when you read do you think your eyes move from left to right? Well, they don't. They jump around constantly. Well, I'm surely not trying to sell these gadgets, and to each their own for sure, but it was the best thing I ever did in getting surround gaming (I go out far less and save tons of cash!). The irony is I never had 2 screens for anything to do with gaming. It was for web & graphics design. Having 2 monitors was great, but three has quadrupled my work load. Lastly, now that a few months has past, you can read up on that monitor above. It is terribly washed out, looking like someone just stretched the monitor without increasing overall specs (like contrast, read it was incredibly faded). For my needs and doing graphic design I wouldn't take that as a swap with what I have if they gave me 2. I need my apps, pics and videos to snap to a monitor and that screen is gaming only in my opinion. Unfortunately developing a gaming anything should exceed the standard and that one certainly doesn't from what's I've seen. Happy gaming gentlemen, and happy contrails to you fellow simmers! ~Dan
