[QUOTE="XxSTILL_BORNxX"]It seems MS became sensitive alot because i also got suspended for just putting movie quotes on my bio , my motto : nothing else matter , name : metal 4 life , location : unknown .... i was suspended for a day too [ that was a couple of days ago btw. ] and well....i just find it unfair that someone worse then me going on live cursing the **** out of people and still gets to play while i who was playing COD : WAW on veteran only to find out that i disconnect from xbox live and then i get suspended for one day. -_________________________________________________-darkdemonlord69
Might have gotten the Suspension, for Copywright Rules. As for the foul mouths on Xbox Live. Falls under the First amendment. Freedom of speech.

Ah, but Freedom of Speech means that you are free as you want to give and believe your own opinion. It does not mean that you're free to degrade and harass others, there are laws against that everywhere.

You can take your stats, but not your weapons or apperance.

And online isn't patched yet, so I don't know how that works. I imgaine you'd be able to take everything for that, according to the way the E3 demo made it seem.

So it sucks to be a mature Xbox Live member because Microsoft is taking steps to make Xbox LIVE a more clean and enjoyable place to play?

Oh right, I forgot, the only reason people play online is to scream racial and sexual slurs. How dare they take away our right to abuse anomoniously over the internet!

Outrageous, isn't it?

I agree, most infringing on our personal freedoms!

find where air flows in and patch those cracks up. seal it up tight to rid yourself of these pest and then game in peace after bombing them back to hell where they came from. demon bugsmr__gameboy

If you're talking about your 360, good way to fry it.

If you're talking about your house, good way to suffocate.

Yeah, I think it's a cool idea. They're actually getting time with this one, so I'm willing to give them a chance.

The singleplayer in this game is appealing for a playthrough once. The general idea is it places you in a battlefield multiplayer sized map and tasks you with going about the map blowing stuff up. There are side objectives such as finding weapons and gold crates, but these only yeild small achievments and aren't really worth the hassle. The downside of single player is you won't find yourself particuarly wanting to play through it again after beating it once. Also, your sqaud is completly usless, they follow you around alright, but you'll sometimes see them standing right next to an enemy and not managing to aim straight enough to kill him. Sometimes I wonder if they even can kill an enemy. Another downer is that whenever you play it, you can't help but realize how much it screams for co-op, but that obviously didn't happen.

Now the multiplayer of this game is where it really shines. As of now, there is a mode called Gold Rush, which tasks a team to destroy all gold crates in sets of two before thier tickets run out. Obviously, the opposing team must defend these crates and destroy the opposing teams tickets. The neat thing about this game mode is that it can't really be done in any other game, as camping would simpy take the fun out. However, in this game, a camper can't hide in the corner of a room with the gold crate, because soon the walls won't be there anymore due to the new environment engine. This is not to say that camping still isn't a problem, but it's significantly less of one than what it could have been. The game will also give you unlocks about every other rank-up, however, there really isn't much to choose from, as there are only two weapons and a bonus item for every class. There are a few others that are offered for other conditions (i.e. Reaching the top rank), but you will find yourself not paying much attention to those. You'll generally be buying the bonus item, and then the two guns for your favourite class(es) and then find yourself wondering what to get next.

Also, as mention previously, sniping can be a problem, but it's not as bad as some people make it seem, however, it can sometimes be frusterating to have to take long routes through cover instead of a quick jog across a field due to snipers, especially when time is of the essence.

In the end, I would recommend this game, as I have thouroughly enjoyed the multiplayer, most especially when playing with a friend. There are other pros and cons I haven't mentioned here, but I imagine that by now you've got a general enough idea.

I'd have to side with most of the posters here. I like both types of games.

However, I do sometimes feel like more recent games are going over the top with there violence. Examples could be Manhunt (I believe it's called) and yes, Gears of War. There are some points were I play a game, see the violence, and think "Is this really necessary?". I don't know, maybe some people have grown desensitzed to it, but when I play games I still occasionally sit back and notice what the game is really doing. I don't enjoy "blowing my friends into ity bity pieces of blood", I enjoy sitting down and playing a game with friends, whether competetive or otherwise, for the very thing it is, a social thing to do that's also fun. It's the same reason I play monopoly or other board games, and when I do, I am not disapointed because my thimble doesn't shoot intestine spilling missles or fill itself up with blood.

I know this probably isn't the safest place to say this, but I honestly think back to the days of mario and sonic and 8-bit graphics and sometimes wonder what happened. Because, whether they should or not, kids still get thier hands on these games, and (although many would ferociously deny it) I've honestly seen the impact it can have when children are exposed to this stuff at a young age. For example, I recently met a group of children playing a game of good old cops and robbers, something I often played. However, these kids had modified it to include the fact that, when captured, the robbers must allow themselves to be "chainsawed" by the cops. This would include simulted flesh cutting sounds and the very best attempts at pretending there is blood and gore flying everywhere. These kids couldn't have been more than seven or eight years old.

I suppose my final point is, I realize that voilence is a large part of most games, and that there will continue to be voilence in games, but I also find myself wishing that there were more games, especially 360 games, that were dedicated to a mature audience without any of the blood, chainsaws, or "meat hooks" that seem to be a staple.

I'm not sure.... I think the method you mentioned would keep all the achievments...
