Just wondering if any one knew any specific games for PS2 that would work on the 80 GB version of the PS3. Thanks.

Yeah guys the thing won't even turn on now. It just sits in standby mode. Piece of crap. I'm going to get my damn money back and get a new, unused 60 GB. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I've tried just about everything imaginable. Different tv channels/inputs, holding the power button down for 5-10 seconds (doesn't do anything), I think this unit is compromised. In other words, it's ****

But serioulsy, appreciate the help guys. Thanks.

Last time I go on E-bay for anything used. Jesus.

I tried that. The one on the front, right? It doesn't do anything unfortunately. I think it's because when it was shipped, the bottom right hand of the consol got a little messed up.

Yeah, I'm going to head over to my buddy's house tomorrow who has an HD to see what the deal is. So maybe I could change it in the settings if I get it to come up, or maybe I'm just screwed as I said. Goddamn it. Oh well. I appreciate everyone's help. Thanks.

That'd piss me of fit was just set in an HD mode and I couldn't change it.

I have those then. Aren't those the same as my PS2 red, white and yellow? I mean these came with the PS3 too.

Yeah I plugged in the controller. The RCA plugs seem to be in good condition. But my system won't really come on (get all blue/green as opposed to standby in red) unless you put a game in there. Still, nothing comes up. I'll try my PS2 cable.

Probably a good idea. I just wanted a 60 gig so I could play all of my old games otherwise I would have bought a 40 gig. I'm not totally sure what "composite cables" are. Will they go into the PS3? The seller said either HDMI or composite. So I guess that could work?

Where could I get some of these? And don't say E-bay.

I'm using normal RCA cables (old school red, white, yellow). I tried to put in Warhawk and it lit up blue/green but nothing came up. When I hit the power switch it stays red and doesn't do anything. Only when I put a game in does it come up blue/green (on the console). Nothing on screen. Plus who ever shipped it sucked, the bottom of it is coming off. That could have something to do with it.

I have an old school Mitsubishi. Got it in like 96. It's worked with my PS1 and PS2 like a dream. Don't know why it's not now. Everything's plugged in the right place.
