So here's what happened....

Round 1, the other guy comes at me with a few punches that were easy to dodge, I throw a few jabs when suddenly he catches me with a quick left hook. The first round was a bit slow, neither of us were landing many punches, and most that did were body shots.

Round 2, this round started a little better for the other guy, he had a sweet 3 jab combo which hurt a bit and put me on the defensive, I was just dancing around him, waiting for him to lose some of that energy he had been saving up, I landed a couple but they wernt too good, he then threw another good combo, and the round ended with him being way too confident, he thought he had won it already, holding his arms up in the air when the round ended, I honestly would say he had won that round, and maybe the one before, but to think he had won already is just stupid...

Round 3, so yeah I realised that this guys an idiot and he thinks he's won, wouldnt it be funny to see him fall down this round. So I let him hit me a few times, waiting for an opening, then I hit with a fake left jab, and while his arms were up to block it, I smashed that huge right kidney shot id been working on, right into his ribs, he went down straight away, on one knee holding his side. The ref started counting, but he got up after about 5 or 6, and I saw that grin was totally wiped off his face, his legs wernt with him, he was unstable. He couldnt even lift his left arm to block, which left me the perfect oppurtunity to strike, I hit with a left jab to the stomach which he blocked with his right hand, and of course his left hand was around that area too, which gave me all the time in the world to wind up a right hook, I dont think I've ever hit someone so hard, it knocked him out, he didnt get up for a good 10 minutes after the fight had ended. And thats what you get for underestimating your opponent, thinking you've got it in the bag before you've even had a chance to fight...

So yeah, all this training and hard work paid off, and I can finally have a good rest. Still looking foward to my next fight, which im hoping to get one around March or April.
