Okay Here is why it IS true. Although it is expensive to make that prototype case we see in the pics. it is possible, and could be for knock off ps3s. But the smoking gun is the cardboard box. It is to good to be fake. Most could not design a box that perfect. It is just to good to be not from sony. And even a knock of would not put "sony" on the box like that.
