It has been pretty boring so far. I haven't done anything really, since it's been raining all weekend. I have gone out a little though. On Friday night I went to the varsity football game and hung out with my friends. We walked around and met some new people and then I listened to some music with this kids iPod. I would have used my own iPod, but earlier that day something happened to my headphones; no sound was coming out of the left ear bud. I was really mad because I am like always listening to music. Anyways, I decided to buy new headphones the next chance I got.
The next chance I got was Saturday. I asked my mom if we could go to Best Buy, so I could buy some new headphones. She finally gave in and drove me to Best Buy. She didn't really feel like going inside, so she told me she would be at the mall across the street. She said to call her when I was done. I decided to take my time, so the first thing I did was go inside and walk over to Guitar Hero III for the Xbox 360. I played on that for ten or fifteen minutes and I also watched some better people play. After a little while I decided to go get the headphones so I could go home. Well when I was looking at the headphones I decided that I didn't want the same kind as last time so I was looking for some new ones. I asked one of the Best Buy employees which headphones they recommmend. The guy showed me some Phillips headphones and said those were my best bet. I decided to go with him, so I bought them. Then I called my mom and we went home.
When we got home I decided that I wanted to download some new music. So I went on the internet and looked for recommendations of screamo bands (by the way I'm not emo I just like the screaming.) I also used iTunes to find some new bands. I downloaded a few bands and they were pretty good. After I was done downloading them I got the album artwork right and then I updated my iPod. Then for the rest of the day I sat around and decided to play a game.
The game I decided to play was the demo for EA Skate. It took a while because I had to download it off of the marketplace, but it was worth the wait. It's the first game I've actually like gotten into in a couple months. It is amazing; the Tony Hawk games are nothing compared to this! I have gotten pretty good at it too, but I'm not like really good yet. After I played it for a while I let my brother have a go. He likes it too, which is good and bad for me. The good thing is that when we buy it today, he is going to pay for half of it. The bad thing is that he is going to want to play it :P. Oh well, I can take turns. I can't wait to get it though.
Later today I'm going to the movies with my family and we are going to see Game Plan. I'm not sure how it will be yet, but I love Coke and popcorn, so I'm going no matter what. After or before we go to the movie we are going to buy Skate. Then I think we are coming home and I will be getting ready for another week of school :(. Hopefully next weekend comes fast, so I can hang out with people (if it doesn't rain all day.)
