Hi guys, I am about to complete my gaming rig and need a recommendation for a motherboard for my system. I want it to be suitable for the rig I have chosen and also allow me if I ever need to, to SLI my GTX 760. Here is the list on Ebuyer: http://www.ebuyer.com/lists/list/207669 At current I have chosen the Asus Z87-K Socket 1150 as my motherboard for this particular rig. Here is a screenshot of the full proposed build:

You definitely don't need 16GB of RAM. Also, don't forget to get Windows, if you haven't already...superclocked
Thank you for your comment. Care to justify why I don't need 16 GB? Also yes I am a student so I get all of windows OSs free via MSDN

Hi guys, Here is my proposed gaming rig- one is AMD the other being Intel processor based. The AMD build I have selected only 8 GB RAM vs. the 16 GB RAM (4 * 4GB) hence the difference in price between the two. I am using a Zalman Z11 Plus Midi tower case. For CPU cooling I have already pre-purchased an Corsair H100 water cooler. Here is the AMD-based rig: And here is the Intel-based rig:

Hi guys, Here I have selected 2 motherboards for my new gaming rig and I want to know which is the better option of the two and also whether the price difference is justified. Gigabyte GA-970A £69.50 http://www.ebuyer.com/271787-gigabyte-am3-amd970-4xddr3-gbe-lan-raid-2xusb3-0-dolby-atx-motherboard-ga-970a-d3 VS. Gigabyte GA-990XA £90.40 http://www.ebuyer.com/270603-gigabyte-ga-990xa-ud3-am3-7-1-channel-hd-audio-atx-motherboard-ga-990xa-ud3
