[QUOTE="pro_gamer12345"]If you move and shoot that makes killing the chainsaw guy and the other guys really easy. it basically makes the game much more easier. Not being able to shoot while you move and having to stand still and reload makes the game have more suspense. theROOTS420

haha wow thats stupid

If anything the only thing it ADDS to the game is extreme frustration. Other than that it takes away a lot. The charachter is too limited in controls. Thats why games like mgs4 are amazing. Snake can do anything. Roll forward, sideways, lay down, hang off of rafters, you can switch which shoulder to aim over, he can smoke cigs, listen to his ipod for f*** sake... RE5 sucks balls. Its like your controlling a dude with downsyndrome

It doesn't add to frustration - u just suck LOL. Having to pay attention to your rounds, waiting for an opening to reload, all the little things u take for granted in other games until u play RE.

"That's why games like mgs4 are amazing. Snake can do anything"

How is MGS and RE even coming up in the same discussion? The MGS series is espionage, a recon mission - a series that gave u the choice to incapacitate an enemy or kill him. Where have u been? The MGS series always had the best controls, and gave u multiple techniques to resolve confrontation. RE never had controls to begin with LOL. What's next? Y'all want tranq' darts for thee infected?...Freeze![shaking down a zombie] LOL

You cant compare Dead Space to RE5; the environments are totally different. Of course a game in small, shadowy corridors, is gonna capture survival horror better than RE5 - you're on a ship...there's no where to run. Since RE4, the environments have been pretty much open.

As far as controls, Type A (RE4 layout) is pretty fluid. The controls are great. Y'all just stuck on...'I cant move and shoot'. Slowly moving and shooting is practical, but not in a game where every bullet counts. AI would of have to be totally reworked, ammo levels would have to be adjusted to compensate too. Shots are not wasted in RE. Every shot, you're strategically aiming for something. The game mechanics work...It adds tension...any **** can back pedal and shoot at 4 enemies at once, but to pick off 4 enemies, and not even flinch, is tension that no other game has.

yea i did all that stuff, but when i select to share my internet stops working and so i cant go on live, any suggestions?toxicuno

Windows uses 192.168.0.1 as its IP address to enable connection sharing; which your router might use too. So It will try and use that IP Address, thus, knocking out the connection. Change your Router's IP address to something like, 192.168.1.1 so there's no conflict.

I wanna see the Viewtiful Joe series continue on the PS3. That game is so fun, so pick-up-and-play, and the art direction never disappoints. And, from a graphical standpoint, I wanna see what a Shadow Of Collosus would like on PS3 LOL.

[QUOTE="Animal-Mother"][QUOTE="NAPK1NS"]

I have waited a disgustingly long time for this game and here it is, a month till release, and I have to say... Resident Evil 5 just isn't what I wanted it to be. Let me break down my disappointment:

  • The whole game is in co-op... ouch. This is the first change to the RE formula that I do not agree with. How am I supposed to feel any of the tension and atmosphere if my friend is yelling over the mic?
  • The merchant is gone and the upgrading system and weapon collection has been made annoying to use.
  • Rarely do I ever complain about a sequel being too similar to it's predecessor... but.. RE5 is too similar in terms of gameplay. Even some of the animations are the same.
  • The split screen is so awkwardly set up that I can hardly see myself even wanting to use it... and why is Sheva confined to the right side of the screen?
Maybe my expectations were too high... maybe the game is just disappointing. Who knows.... I just want God of War III and Final Fantasy XIII to be honest, and that makes me really sad. :(

I agree with 2 and 4, the other I don't mind but did you get the game early? WHERE?!

I don't need to play the full game to realize that the pacing of the game will be altered due to friends talking on a head set. Disagreeing is like saying a Chopin piece can be enjoyed the same way if someone if running their jaw at you the whole time. Finally, I have played the demo a whole lot. Enough times to say that the core gameplay is... very similar to that found in Resident Evil 4. Usually I would be able to look past these things, but it just irritates me too much.

Then play the game without a human partner; Sheva's a great AI partner. She uses a lot of ammo sometimes, but that's a product of the SMG being a weak gun with a high fire rate.

I'll tell you the issue with the controls its like me giving you a car an telling you to go down a straight road no problem the car I gave you was in fact build for just that. Now after your done it was a great joyace experience an a thrill for any speed seeker. Now with the same car I want you to instead now still go from point a to point b with the same speed an control you did before. Though now I'm gonna throw in a couple trains some semi trucks an high speed cars much faster then yours to chase you. Now with all of that I expect you to pull off the same joyace experience you had prior to with no problem at all.

See...but what I eventually found out...that car had a button in the dashboard that spills oil(head shots, combo melee attacks, oil barrels, transformers) onto the road, so those high speed cars are no more, and those semi trucks and high speed trains are fast, but they cant move as well as a car...so I have the advantage after all.

It's all about how u play the game.

It's funny how serious some of y'all are takin this demo, like, this is the final build, the whole game is out in daylight, and those 2 levels were the whole game. Gore is censored, Infected are slow and indecisive, Axe man and Chainsaw dude get hung up in animations... do u really think the final build will be like this?

It's a demo; u get use to the new features they added: new inventory systems, managing things with your AI partner, more enemies on screen, the environment, the controls - if you're not sticking with the RE4 layout. The demo was fun, there's so many ways to approach a level [public assembly]: u can play it smart and funnel everything in, go balls out and mix it up with the public...see what's good in town...how u should spend your week in the mother land LOL, or u can get away from everything and snipe the the town from the roof. The demo is just now gettin old for me. I wanna see what else is out there.

If u hate the controls, keep playin, you'll get use to them. If u cant get with the A or C layout...I guess it's not for u.
