Being a girl gamer i mostly stuck to the "Safe" games like Sims and Roller coaster tycoon. Id hear my fiance and his mates out in the lounge yellin and laughin and id wonder to myself " What do they see in those shoot em up games? Well when i bought my finace our ps3 last year for xmas, boy was i in for a rude shock- it was the xmas when Assassins creed and Call of duty 4 were hot! All i knew in my mind is that it had taken me two days to get my hands on a copy of call of duty and it was 3 days before xmas- Clearly i had no idea what this huge deal was about Call of duty? We got home xmas night and fiance was just over the moon- when i suggested to play Assassins creed ( which id worked out in my mind might be alright) He turned and looked at me like i was some kind of retard " Umm Call of duty" he said and continued lookin at me like some moron! Ok i thought- cant be that bad- a bit of shooting- some aiming that im not great at and yeah it might be alright? 4 hrs later its 2 am and im sittin on the bed yellin- " F**K you, die you piece of crap, OMG OMG did you see that- he killed me- hes cheating...Clearly id had the wrong idea of these games, they were great!!!! Poor finace was just laying there trying to tell me that the game would still be there in the morning when we woke up but i wouldnt nor couldnt put down the controller... Needless to say Call of duty world at war is now my fave game, im pretty much into nething thats FPS- well ill give it a go neways- not so much a fan of like HAze.. BAd game! But yeah ive changed my whole view on games now- where as i would have picked up the likes of Sims for my comp or something like Heros of might and magic now im picking up Fall out 3 and Metal gear solid! I just wish more chicks would see how cool these games are and give them a try- so to ne girls reding this- next time ur bf or fiance or even husband decides to play something like metal gear solid or cod, sit down beside him and watch and then make sure you have a try cos if ur nething like me you'll learn to love it!!!! And then yeah you and ur partner will have to look into buying two ps3's! I guess im just impressed with something that wasnt so impressive to start with- alot of ppl said in the early days there werent many good games for the ps3 and i agree there really wasnt, but if it wasnt for me gettin stuck with call of duty4 i would still be glued in the world of sims and zoo tycoon- OH what a shameful life i used to lead.....
