Firefox's appeal over IE and why Google Chrome is Safer

Over the past five years, Firefox has been rapidly taking over a significant amount of the web browser market; A market once primarily dominated by Microsoft's Internet Explorer. So why the sudden shift to Firefox? Perhaps it was the fact that Microsoft could not keep enough people interested in Internet Explorer's rhetorical design and function. Whatever the reason, Firefox has been able to attract a relatively large audience rather rapidly over the years. So what is the secret to the "foxy" web browser's success? Frequent users of the browser say that Firefox has a friendlier user interface plus many more useful and unique features than Internet Explorer. One of the most useful features of Firefox is the ability to add more functionality to the browser based on your needs or wants, for Firefox has hundreds of different add-ons. In fact, one of my favorite features of Firefox is the ability to subscribe to a service that blocks unwanted ads and popups for free! Speaking of security, I'd like to now touch upon why Google chrome is the safest web browser. When you open Firefox the entire web browser is treated as one application or process. However, each tab that you open in Google chrome runs as its own process that is seperate from the web browser itself. This makes it almost impossible for malware to install itself since each tab is running independently from the other tabs that are open.
