I just recently purchased a 360, and I was wondering if there was any way to connect the system to my PC to gain internet access. The current setup in my home would require a massive ethernet cable extending from the top floor to bottom floor to be connected to my router, and that really wouldnt look very nice. My PC connects to the router via a wireless modem. I guess what I had hoped to do was use my PC as a hub of sorts so that the connection it recieves would also be recieved by the 360. Any help on issue would be great. Thanks in advance
[QUOTE="Casiotech"]Just get Warrior Within it's rated M and it has gore and better graphics.JordanElek
Do not start off with Warrior Within. It's a good game, but it's frustrating as hell even for someone who has played through the Sands of Time.
Sands of Time eases you into the gameplay through an incredible storyline (for a video game). Warrior Within is a little more glitchy and doesn't give you as many helps. It will probably turn you off from the series if you start out with it, but you'll definitely want to play it after beating Sands of Time. Two Thrones (the third game) is by far the most polished and enjoyable of the trilogy.
Prince of Persia was my favorite series of last gen.... Definitely get Sands of Time.
This is true, I have a friend who started with warrior within. Frustrated him beyond belief, he couldnt get past the first boss on the intro boat level. So he always scoffs at me when i say Sands of Time is one of the best game of this past generation (and one of my favorites of all time). Definitely play Sands of Time by any means. I think its a perfect example of how effective video games can be as a medium to tell stories.
Thanks everyone for your responses. I'm glad to hear everyone's experience has been mostly beneficial. I suppose proper maintenace does in fact matter the most when it comes to longevity. I have a friend who's PS2 broke after a year or so, but that was cuz his mom dropped a vacuum on it (long story). And then I always remember that X-Play video where the demolished the 3 consoles to see which one would survive and PS2got trashed easily. But I think i take pretty good care of my systems; i have an SNES that still works after over 10 years.
And if your wondering, the first games i'm planning on getting are Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy XII.
First off, this is not a hate topic. It's a genuine inquiry about the PS2.
OK, so i'm one of the few gamers who don't own a PS2 (yes, you are allowed to point and laugh if you want lol). Like most gamers, i'm not a rich man, so I mainly stuck with one console. I'll always love my gamecube, but now that the PS2 is winding down its days, they've become a bargain for cheap gamers who can't afford the newest consoles. Here's my question though: how reliable is the PS2 hardware. I've heard lots of things about it, some people say it won't last very long and have went through at least 3 PS2's; others still have their first one and are working just fine. I know the PS2 couldnt have had this much success if it had such an underlying fault, but still, i turn to the wonderful community of gamespot to give me the hardcore truth from their personal experience.
Can't afford one yet, plain and simple. There's still so many GBA, GCN and PC games I'm interested in, plus with the upcoming release of the Wii, its almost too much for this starving college student to handle. But I will own a DS Lite one day, and you'll know it when u notice some mysterious person is able to defeat anyone he challenges in Mario Kart DS.
